Until very recently, American culture has operated on the flawed notion that teenage dating and sex required little encouragement. Teenage romance was once seen as a natural part of American adolescence. This, it turns out, is completely wrong. Teenage dating is not inevitable and it’s a rapidly disappearing part of the American teenage experience. These relationships often served as inspiration for Hollywood’s tragedies and comedies, but in real life they are frequently formative and incredibly valuable for young people. Moreover, the decline of teen dating may be having an especially pernicious impact on the development of young men.
A survey conducted by the Survey Center on American Life found that only 56 percent of Gen Z adults—and 54 percent of Gen Z men—said they were involved in a romantic relationship at any point during their teenage years.
my opinion: Of course, the group of men I call "SpermDonorAcceptable" will do the genetic transfer, either naturally, or through their earlier off-campus paid fapping, but it's pretty clear that these Sub46%Cels will not be acculturated into CareerMaxxing, and instead will GaltMax (i.e., a form of NEETBuxxing) from the get-go. Perhaps the AI revolution will allow for the economy to get by with only half the men interested in working?

The way things are going, this song looks prophetic:

Women don't give a crap when men go MGTOW. These were men who were already invisible to them. If Gen Z men are a bunch of incels/MGTOW monks, that's not something that bothers most women.

Except for the fact that there is a bunch of youtube vids and Tic Toks where women are crying about guys not approaching them and opting out, etc.... and more and more videos keep coming up. These are not post-wall women either, a number of them are 20-something women.

Also, you have also claimed in other posts that women tend to want to date guys in their own age range. How would women date guys in their own age range if they are all invisible to them?

We both went to an all boys school, so I don't think we are part of those 76% of gen-Xers who had a girlfriend in High School. They should make gender segregated high schools illegal. While not saying anything may have happened, I think I would have been better off as a whole if I went to a co-ed high school rather than an all boys high school.

There have been a lot of stats showing that teen pregnancies and prevalence of sex have been on the decline for quite a long time now, so I' not too surprised to see this. However, we are still seeing sexlessness going past high school and well into college age and even post college, particularly for young men. This has been discussed countless times on here, but there are a lot of social/cultural elements that are at play here but the trend is that people overall, including teens, are having less sex, less children, etc.

Men that honestly struggle with getting sex, dates, etc. are more or less having their thirstiness quenched by bountiful and free sources of porn that are available at their fingertips, something that didn't exist even just 20 years ago. Prior to the internet, men and teenage boys had to buy dirty magazines that they kept hidden or go to "peep shows" lol. There was an element of it being something to be kept hidden and a secret, so perhaps an element of shame? However, a guy doesn't really have to go through this whole charade today and he can literally just scroll through his phone and have access to just about anything he can think of lol.

@SW15

I don't fully agree with that. @corrector Brings up a valid point, where women are complaining about not being able to find men that are actually interested in a relationship. Sure, there are tons of dumb and desperate women who chase guys that just treat them as a pump and dump, but they aren't necessarily a representation of the majority of women.

Yes, I remember growing up in the 80s/90s that AIDs and rampant sex and unwanted teenage pregancies were all major issues during those times. I totally lost interest in off-line porn in 2006 as it was too inconvenient access, you have to interact with store owners and feel like a perv in the process, and you might encounter some transgender woman working at the place that might freak you out. (ie remember having that experience and just running out of the store)

The delivery of the porn, as it's online, is also changed to not just smartphones, but also VR-headsets, and accompanied with sex-toys and interactive VR, can create a hyper realistic experience (I've never tried that, not just for moral reasons, but also because I'm simply too busy and drained most of the time to have the energy to go there, but maybe some younger people do?).

However, it doesn't really quench thirstiness in the same way as a real woman though. When faced with an option between a real woman and porn, of course, guys would choose a real woman. It's not like it's a close second option to a real woman, it's more like a better than nothing option.

Women want and believe that they are entitled to the 'Chad' type. When women are wanting to date men near their own ages, they are seeking the top tier men near their own ages, not the mid-tier men near their own ages.

Most women have an abundance of mid-tier men approaching/swiping right on them. Most women are repulsed by mid-tier men. Rollo has said many times that the average woman doesn't want to have anything to do with the average man.

Look at universities right now. Universities are where a lot of Gen Z's have been in recent years. In the early 2000s, most universities had undergrad populations that were close to 50% male, 50% female. Now, most universities are closer to 60% female and 40% male and sexlessness stats are increasing, especially with Gen Z. That's showing that Gen Z women are mainly ignoring the mid-tier Gen Z men. Millennial women were doing this 15-20 years ago too.

Pay attention to women's action's and not their words. When women are complaining about not finding men interested in a relationship with them, it's mainly nonsense. There are plenty of mid-tier men swiping on them, sending them DMs on social media platforms, and so on. These are men who would often commit to them long term.

If a woman is having a difficult time in the mating environment, it is likely because she is too fussy relative to what she offers.

The only man on the US Supreme Court that has had any incel experience went to an all-boys Catholic school - where JockMaxxing has a low elasticity-of-attraction.
One wonders if we will start seeing TrueCels in politics. Of course, political power is an aphrodisiac so by the time someone rises up to a certain level, he will have a pool of pliable women - or at least that's the way it used to be. "Roller" Steve Hoca tried running for mayor of his small town, and his opponent used his TFL content against him.

To throw a wrench into this argument (ie one that I may support but think this could be more interesting to look at it from another angle). Chads/Chadlites are more likely to have the confidence to make an approach because it will likely go somewhere (or at least have a net positive interaction with little to no risk it would ruin their day). However, who is more likely to get burned-out and quit making approaches, or look at blackpill social media, test the waters, see its not for them after two or three rejections and then retreat to porn and forget about approaching women? Who is more likely to get into trouble with HR or make the atmosphere uncomfortable if they start approaching women at work?

It's hard to believe that Chads/Chadlites are not approaching the women complaining about this on Tic Tok and youtube because the girls themselves look hot, and these types of guys would chase way uglier women then them if they wanted an easy no-effort lay.

All-boys and all-girls schools tend to be Catholic.

During college and post-college, I have met many males that spent their high school years in all-boys schools. I've listened to their experiences and gained valuable insight for them.

There is one major factor in having a chance to have a girlfriend in high school if you go to an all-boys high school. You must have a good social network from your K-8 school. Without that, you have a very small chance of graduating high school with any sort of meaningful mating market experience.

If you don't have a good high school mating market experience, you're going to be trying to play catch up on a college campus and in the real world in your 20s. That's not an easy position to operate from during those phases of life.

If you're a male at an all-boys high school, you'd better hope you weren't a social outcast during K-8.

Good looks will also help at an all-boys school. Good looks are secondary to your social network. Better looking boys in K-8 also tend to be more popular boys, so there's some relationship.

Most all-boys high school attendees that can find a girlfriend find it from the all-girls schools in that area.

My sense is that @MatureDJ wasn't Mr. Popular in K-8 and he was handcuffed by his short stature. That's a recipe for disaster in Grades 9-12 at an all-boys school. Also, his all-boys school didn't seem to have a close relationship with a nearby all-girls school. That is uncommon as every other all-boys school experience I've heard that social mixers at least monthly with the nearby all-girls school.

All boys schools lead to some of the most maladjusted behaviours with the opposite sex too. This is where thirst and hormones are on steroids.

Some notable memories:
1) A lady walking infront my all boys school. The guys go at the window and start cat-calling her and going wild that there is a hot girl walking infront of the school.
2) Running exercises. See a hot girl on the street, and guys start running up to talk to her and getting in trouble with the teacher.
3) Ugly-a$$ teachers are like pedistalized because they are the only women you are seeing in that environment.

This is thirst that is cultivated.

I think these environments teach you to become thirsty for women because they are the alien species. After all, you are used to interacting with guys most of the time, not with them. I remember even walking on the sidewalk home, my heart would start racing when I saw a hot girl walk in the opposite direction.

If it wasn't for a nearby Protestant church that had girls of my own age going there, then there would be literally no interaction with any woman until University.

Girls are already pretty obvious and aggressive if they find you attractive. I wonder if having men more passive will result in a greater initiative being taken by women.

Hard to be an incel when Epstein gives you free flights to his new island.

Do you remember that experiment where rats were getting electricity when pulling a leverage? for what I recall only the ones getting the food kept pulling it.

Wasn't that the one with the elevated platform with tasty morsels and when a rat wanted to climb to the platform they electrified the floor so all the other rats would drag the rat down from the ladder? And then they exchanged rat by rat until none of the rats had felt the electrified floor but they still held back any rat trying to climb the ladder.

Nope it wasnt that one, the one I read was testing much simpler results.

I understand what you mean however.

The one I mentioned was very Pavlovian.

I know about another one where they gave rats choice between water and water with drugs. The rats favoured the drugged water when they were in a bare cage without distractions, but when they were in a 'playhouse' cage with lots of activities to do, the rats didn't drink the drugged water.

I was at an all-boys school for middle school too.  Yes, there were absolutely no mixers.:mad:
