My knees have not fully healed and not sure how long it will take to heal (rested about 2 weeks which was what i was told to). It's the muscle tendon between the knee and the doctors said I should stay off heavy weights for a couple of weeks on my legs and take ibuprofen. I tried icing my knees which i thought helped but doctor said it does very little as it's the muscle tendon that is swelled which makes my knees weak after period of unuse (feel frail and like an old man when i try to get up at times.). The ibuprofen should help with the internal muscle swelling and bring it down.
