How do you guys usually handle a flake? I'm on the fence about jumping in their sh!t over it or just letting it go and moving on. Lately this friend of mine has been flaking majorly. Last week she called me to make plans, then flaked. Then I called her, we made plans, she flaked again...

This is an old thread but I felt like it needed to be bumped. Some of the best advice for any guy that's had a "friendgirl" go strange on him.

Just wondering what excuses you guys have come across when you've been flaked on. I was supposed to go out with this girl a couple of weeks ago but she texts me with the excuse that she is having a really heavy flow day :nervous: and was going to lay down cuz she felt like crap. Anyone...

thanks for the replies. As for me, I've decided to move on. I do have other women in my life, ones that are much more available than this one. As such, this is the last time I'm posting in this thread. Thanks again for the advice guys.

About the open relationship thing, I think Penkitten is right. Everytime me and this girl talk about dating we always mention that we wouldn't cheat but that we would prefer to be able to hang out with other people if we wanted to. But like I said earlier, she cancels on dates way too...

Update: So I catch her online after not having talked to her in two months and she's just chatting about things that have happened lately. She asks me if I want to go to New Orleans with her next year. Then she tells me about how this guy asked her out and about how she just wasn't into him...
