Will there ever be a real Men's Rights Movement?

Is there anyone here who hasn't wondered how things came to be the way they are? How is it possible that the naturally stronger, traditionally more privileged half of the human population has been taking it up the @ss from the weaker half for decades without so much as a whimper? Think back of your high-school...now imagine guys on the football team getting bullied and beat up for their lunch money by the nerds. A far fetched scenario? Perhaps, but no more far fetched than the social dynamics of today would have appeared to a man living 100 years ago.

Why aren't men up in arms over such systemic problems as anti-male bias in the court system, widespread abuse of sexual harassment laws and discrimination against men in education and employment, to name a few? Surely you won't find too many men who are happy with this state of affairs...Speak to just about any man in private and he will agree that the pendulum has swung too far the other way. So why aren't we pushing back?

The obvious problem that I see is the lack of collective action. At present, the men's rights movement is basically a loose network of online blogs that share a common discontent but little else. This is very different from the feminist movement that was highly organized right from the start. Feminists were not just some motley bunch of unattractive, unwanted broads picketing the White House with slogans like "I didn't come from your rib, you came from my vagina" or crazy British suffragettes chaining themselves to railroad tracks and going on hunger strikes. They had (and to this day have) political organizations, lobby groups, debating societies and serious fundraising capabilities. The men's rights movement has Rollo Tomassi and a handful of other guys like him. Hardly a fair fight.

I find it interesting that men will go to great lengths to organize themselves to take on other men...through wars, collective strikes, civil rights protests, etc. But there seems to be very little interest in organizing to fight female oppression.

Alphas, that is about 10% of males, have no reason whatsoever to change their behavior because they always get what they want. They don’t mind living in a matriarchy because the hottest women are always at their feet, and that’s all most men really want for a significant portion of their adult lives.

And if they want anything else, women, controlling more and more of society, will always be happy to give it to them — because they’re alphas.

Meanwhile, the other 80-90% of men can revolt all they want to, ‘go their own way,’ try to learn Game, etc. etc; what will be the result?
Women won’t even take the trouble to notice what they’re doing.

This is because

a) women don’t need to depend economically on men anymore and

b) women are perfectly willing and able to share the alphas, going without sex at all for long periods, indeed much of their lives, between their bits of alpha.

This behavior will only become more and more pronounced as the new matriarchy develops.

The other 90% of men, while they CAN get women, it's an uphill battle. The widespread of game and the PUA movement does not help the situation. It just makes women more prized, and their entitlement issues are already high as hell.

You've pointed out the problem yourself: the upper 10% men, or "alphas", will always be doing fine. Meanwhile the other 90% are supplicating to women and got scared thinking girls would collectively go into no-sex protest if they didn't bow to their wishes.

Not that they obtained any more sex as a result. Feminism, while it had some valid issues, was effectively a giant **** test that men, as a whole, failed. Excuse me, I'm going to be sick now.

If I may interject some optimism here....

Yeah, things are bad. But there are signs that the pendulum is swinging back.

The internet has unleashed a tidal wave of information for men. I would say that in 2012, compared to, say, 1995, more and more men can seek out or stumble upon Game, compare notes, and find ways to take their balls back.

In fact, Game has become so accessible that is has gone mainstream many times over. From Mystery's show to jokes about it on Big Bang Theory to women recognizing negs, the dam that held Game in check has busted.

You might think that this would diminish its effect, but not so. Game evolves with societal shifts. And think about it: You as a man are aware that women put on lipstick, show cleavage, wear tight skirts, and wink to get your interest. A woman being aware of Game's existence will not necessarily mean she is averse to it. Au contraire; women love a man who's resourceful and determined to get what he wants.

The more men who frustratingly Google "how to get chicks," the more converts we have. Not every AFC will change his ways of course. But many will. Keep in mind it took decades to get to where we are today and it may take decades more to push back.

The more we push back, the more extreme Feminists will get. I'm sure you saw that video on Heartiste's website of the angry Brazilian feminists going after the d!ck-flasher like angry chimps. We'll see more and more displays of absurdity by women as they continue to paint themselves into a corner.

What can you do about it? You have to pick your battles carefully. Don't get into heated political discussions with angry Fems. Use your Amused Mastery and laugh them off like the fools they are. You can't convince a dog that green is different from red so why bother trying? Use Game. And select for the right women. Reward masculinity and submission. Eschew all that disgusts you.

Think about all the Game blogs, sites, seminars, etc. out there. They must be making a difference. Twenty years ago you'd have to send out for a book on this stuff. We were awash in a world of self-flagellation and Disneyfied b.s. Today men are more Game-aware than they have been in a long time.

I would only add that superficially things still seem to be headed down the wrong track. We just had a four-star general resign because of an affair for Chrissakes, how much worse could it get? If we keep soldiering on, episodes like Petraeus will represent the last gasp of the Feminist establishment, instead of another lopped off male member. Remember, change doesn't start with elections or Congress, it starts with you.

While game doesnt help by pushing guys to approach girls therefore increase their value, it also unveil all the sh1t women throw at us therefore making more less tolerant to such behaviours.

As Sodbuster said, men no longer accept marriage at such conditions, when young girls will see what happens to cougars in real life will be forced to reevaluate their choices.

Also frustrated men who tried harder to fit in society now realize that its that same trying to fit that was the reason of their frustration, so many simply step back and take what is necessary for happyness.

Men now realize that they dont have to play if the game is rigged.

The affair is the made-for-TV/ media-friendly version of why he resigned. That's the story you're supposed to buy into. The head of the CIA doesn't resign or feel forced to resign over affairs. There's something else going on. He either stepped on the wrong people's toes or royally screwed-up.

Resigning because of an affair keeps people from asking questions or digging deeper. Not that I care. Besides, if he were so good at keeping secrets, keeping an affair secret should be a piece of cake. He was probably forced to resign and was told to give some lame reason either to save face or to keep people from asking questions.

As far as the men's movement goes. Be your own movement. Make your own rules and have high standards for yourself and others. Live life on your own terms. Then a movement won't be necessary. Once you do that, simply lead by example and share your philosophy if you want to, and things will change for the better one man at a time.

The reason the men's rights movement is Internet only is because most men don't want to risk losing their jobs by going public with this.

You will be called every name in the book by women including misoygnist. In today's PC world, it's bad politics / PR for your employer. After the feminists start contacting your work, the company will find some other excuse to can you.

Just to make sure that XXX is never threatened, liberals push for YYY and ZZZ and letters that must be in the Klingon alphabet b'cuz they make no sense to anyone on Earth. Nonsense media battles over "gay rights" and "animal rights" make ordinary people sick to death of hearing about it.

Around 1880-1920, "women's rights" was looney left goofiness that shielded/distracted from an enormous attack on the lower orders of society. Income tax, prohibition ("war on drugs"), the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank, the Supreme Court inventing "corporate personhood," and so on, were shielded by an army of skirts demanding "equality" in the abstract.

Women's suffrage was always a hollow victory. The decline in men's (and thus families') standard of living came in bits and pieces of legislation and court rulings over many decades. Because "women's rights" was woven into society little by little for a long time, there is no one single thread to pull that can unravel the yarn.

Single-issue movements aren't going to happen anymore. That's because the lower classes are so burnt out on being used as free political office labor by one or more faction of the upper classes. Protest politics was all so cynical. No one's going to believe that a men's movement is actually going to benefit men -- any more than the women's movement actually benefitted women.

Assuredly, you could sit back and watch your new local men's rights committees attract queers, watch the queers be the most active members, and watch them take over all the inner workings of the committees until they became empty shells. That's what happened with NOW. Its abortion rights action committees and lezbian mid-week mid-day "coffeehouses" took over one after another NOW office until all they had left in the late 1980s was a small clique of lezbian hippos arranging "defenses" at Planned Parenthood slaughterhouses.

Any men's protest movement would quickly become the wackos who shout "she's my vag1na" and "I want my rib back." Why? Because any protest movement threatens the policies of the government, and they send undercover agents to disrupt and castrate any protest organization. Literally, white knights would arrive to save feminism.

A men's movement can't do the job.

I keep repeating a simple message: if you want to destroy feminism/hypergamy/whatever-you-call-it, you're going to have to identify its critical points, and trick liberals into destroying them for you.
