I don't know much at all about this subject. Apparently the media are trying to brainwash people so
it would be good if members on here could share their views. Enlighten me.

I live in the US, but absolutely UK should leave. Imagine a world where laws are passed somewhere in Europe and your country has to abide them. Your country's elections don't really matter anymore, you're a puppet. That's in short what is going on.

UK has been fined because their economy was better than other countries, here's the link
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/11184044/EU-makes-Britain-pay-for-recovery.html

Here's another one where they were forced to pay corporations for taxing them heavily in the past (according to the EU)

The list goes on. It looks to me more like wealth redistribution and corporations having a hand in EU laws.

Agree with suave, the european union is run from bankers and corporations, think about gay rights and lgbt stuff, the whole east europe wants nothing of that yet the european commission is pushing more and more and in few years will threath economic attacks if they dont obey.

Same with refugees and "human rights", its basically enforced socialism through a self appointed superior institution.

It doesnt need anything like that to have a common currency and free market inside the union, also keep in mind anytime a votation gets done and doesnt get the result they want, they make that country keep voting the same subject till they get what they want.

If they fail to do it, they remove the currenct government to put one of their choice that will pass that law with no further consultation.

No one among europeans wants TTIP yet the german, italian and french government were more than happy to sign it and are slowing down only due to the recent marches in the main cities, no mention of those marches in media of course.

I actually have kept up with this and agree that the UK needs to get the hell out.

Remember that the UK isn't like a fully fledged member of the EU. I don't quite understand all of it, but if they were then they'd be using the euro for currency and they are not doing this. The UK joined primarily, like everyone else, for increased trade opportunities. Other nations, the ones that suck because they can't keep their finances in order *coughGreecePortugalcough*, they joined because they saw it as a way to bail themselves out. If you recall that's exactly what happened with Greece.

The UK coughs up millions of pounds every single day to the EU. I believe they are even penalized to some extent because their economy is stronger than others. The only reason for this "penalty" is to just extract more money from them.

Make no mistake though about what this entails. If the UK does leave, their economy will suffer in the short-term, as in 1-3 years timeframe. But beyond that, if they manage it properly, they will be stronger long-term. If they leave, EU leaders will want to enact certain trade restrictions on the UK just to spite them because that's what european socialists do best. If you don't love their left-leaning socialism as much as they do, they're gonna bend you over and a$$f*ck you any way they can.

The EU as a concept reminds me of NAFTA and all the sh!tty free trade agreements the US has signed. A government is accountable to its people through elections. But when the world's billionaire overlords take power away from individual governments, that accountability disappears.

I have some British pals. They say it's usually the low(er) skilled workers that are mostly against the EU, mainly because of immigration.

The EU is well-known for its "Freedom of movement" policy, meaning anyone from Poland, Latvia or wherever can work in the UK or any other EU member without ANY restrictions.

Brexit ain't happening folks.

People who genuinely believe this to be the case betray any understanding of human pyschology and political economics.
