I'd say that Rubio is more likely to win than any one other person. Because Bush is a dud, someone has to be the establishment guy. But I think an "outsider" has a better chance. It's just that the outsider odds are split up among Trump, Carson, and Cruz.

Rubio has demonstrated himself to handle and deflect attacks well. He's good, but nothing special. He doesn't inspire the same sort of passion as the other three. In any other cycle, I'd think he was nearly a lock. But this is not a normal nomination.

It IS only November 2015 and the electorate is simply d!cking around - none of what's happening today can really be taken seriously, besides Hillary's inevitability.

The presidency has been ruined since Bush 41 left office. I honestly cannot stand the people who run for president anymore. Look up some of JFK's old 1960 campaign films on YouTube and you will weep for the state of this nation today. Not saying the old guard was perfect but it's just another symptom of decay in the U.S. The irony is that as the class and intelligence of its officeholders diminishes, the office itself bloats with power.

Just my take. History says Trump will probably falter similar to Giuliani and others who had the steam over a year out from the elections. Trump will likely throw his support behind Rubio as well. He'll easily win Florida and coast over any of these current Democrat clowns.

Well, hasn't worked out like I said but Rubio is about to take the support of the establishment Republicans so he has a chance. I was glad to be wrong on Trump. I hope he keeps his course.

But seriously. Have you seen his tax plan? Only 4-brackets. Removing income tax for 50% of the population. 10% flat tax for all businesses. Not taxing income made overseas which Will encourage people to reinvest in the US. Lowering corporate tax while removing loop holes.

I'm not an expert but I think a simpler tax system would be a good thing. The top tax bracket is 25%.

Well, it's 2016 and Trump is set to blow away the rest on Super Tuesday. So much for Rubio and the other bought and paid for clown. Nobody else is laying out any specifics, because they can't do so. They are bought and paid for and will change exactly nothing. Trump knows better than to reveal his hand too soon.

Winning a primary with an average 1/3 of the GOP vote is much different than a national election cycle where Trump needs the support of many demographics he's already alienated.

I hate politics. Both sides are messed up. They have divided America to the point where everyone is at each others throats about any minor political issue.

The GOP establishment is currently pondering the nuclear option, where they run a conservative as an independent against Trump. They know that will guarantee Hillary wins, but the GOP seems to want her to win more than Trump. They think it will be the end of their party if a pro-choice candidate without ties to the church gets the nomination.

The GOP's conservative base is shrinking. We are at the point where those values are a minority opinion. That's why Trump is winning. The GOP is going to either have to accept changing social values, or split off into a new Conservative Party.

It seems to me that Trump is winning with the hardcore conservatives. It's the moderates....the ones who get offended easily about muslims and mysogyny and such, that seem to not want Trump. However, I see others that say that Trump is going to clean up the moderate vote, with Republicans and Democrats, and that's the reason he will win the general election.

I don't really know. I do agree that old school conservatism is shrinking. But Trump is so popular, IMO, because people are tired of sitting back and taking liberal sh*t - and those people are mainly conservative. It's a weird situation.

I'm sort of with Gaylan in the fact that traditional logic says there is no way Trump wins, because certain demographics will go Democrat no matter what. But it's that middle ground of white America.....where things can change. Those are the people who elected Obama. Plus, Trump has a lot of support in NY and FL.

Hardcore conservatives are anti-abortion. They want Planned Parenthood de-funded. They also want a candidate who identifies closely with the church. Trump is pro-choice, supports Planned Parenthood, and he makes Hillary look churchy by comparison. The Pope actually singled out Trump and accused him of not being a Christian.

Republican conservatives have always felt like their candidate was God's choice. As absurd as it is to think of Dubya as an angel and Al Gore as a devil, they really do think that way. But this time, no one can see Trump as an angel.

Presidencies are like long, bad relationships that America has with one man. When it's over, we typically choose the most opposite new candidate from the last sitting president. Dubya set up Obama. And now it looks like Obama is setting up Trump.

People who compare trump to Hitler are ridiculous. Hitler was a socialist. Very anti capitalism. Also Hitler was a failure most of his life. Trump is a successful business man.

He's not even racist. It's not racist to want to secure our borders. It's not racist to not allow Muslims in to our country until we have a method to properly vet Muslim immigrants.

I guarantee you have zero evidence that he is a racist.
