Fellow DJ's,

Ive had a rough month, bad choises in finances have taken its toll and it's breaking me.
I'm going on the road of depression because I see no way out. It doesn't sound big but $4000 debt is hard for a student. Ive also gained weight due lack of motivation and work is going bad too, ive been sitting at home pretty much all month. I got one win. School. Ive been getting my grades and I can begin with my internship in 3 months.

I need to get out of my house and change a few things.

23/1/18

Get back to my work out regime and diet
Regain my strength
Stay away from gambling (I played poker, was up $2000 but tried to double it at the end of the game and lost, now im stuck up with another $700 debt, this was last friday) The ''friend'' wants his money
Go back to working
Convince my dad to help me once more with a small sum of my debt
Call companies that I owe to make fair arrangements

This way I could start off with my internship without trouble in my head and regain focus on life and motivation.

I'm writing this for words of encouragement and a promise to myself to get out of my house and start to rebuild.
Financial trouble can't break a man, I won't allow it. Period.

You take too many risks.

Gambling thousands of euros when you’re a student? That’s too risky. So is investing so much money in bitcoin.

You need to find a real job, stop doing all the risky **** and live a boring life for a while.

The good thing is that you’re probably high value cause you get women pretty easily when lots of us struggle. Get in the gym, get paid, and save all the money you can

Man, I know I've given you chit in the past about the way you play the game, but truth is, allot of us have hit bottom and fail, regardless of how we play it. Take it as a learning experience and an opportunity for growth. The difference, between successful/happy individuals is that they live by a set of principles, that keep them grounded, wether times are good or bad. It's that discipline, that keeps them going, when the motivation just isn't there. Maybe, take some time to reflect on what it is you really want out of life. Go somewhere you can get away from everything for a few days. Leave your cell phone at home and unplug from all technology. Take an inventory of your strengths and weaknesses and start defining your own principles and start setting small, attainable goals, as a stepping stone to achieve an end goal. Then, just start DOING. Doing what you can do now and chip away at your problems. Reconnect with old friends or spark up conversations with everyone you cross paths with, just for the sake of connecting with ppl, while just listening and gaining different perspectives. This will help you get out of your head. Focus on the fundamentals and your defining principles. Good luck!

I mean I don't really get your mindset. You are in debt and instead of saving money or investing smartly you gamble and invest in one of the most volatile things possible in bitcoin.

That doesn't make much sense. Actually that doesn't make ANY sense. Trying to get rich fast is almost always doomed to fail unless you are lucky enough to get in on the ground floor of something and it takes off far faster than anyone expects.

Taking dumb risks doesnt make you cool or alpha it just makes you stupid. Learn from it and dont do to again.

Not high value. I just have the confidence to approach a girl and work on her feelings from the get go. Plus, I got some style, social skills and im a flirt. This works very well for me when I'm on a strict diet, my body is tight and my mindset is. At the moment i'm not even a shadow of what I was about 3 months ago.

I'll take your advice for granted and start over after I wake up.

Mate don't be too hard on yourself being young is when you should f****** up because you've got plenty of time to recover. And you do have plenty of time to recover.

Look obviously naturally you're a risk taker you like the dopamine hit. Unfortunately that's also the beginnings of an addictive personality. You don't want to put that kind of behaviour anywhere near money.

So I'd suggest channeling to something else martial arts, extreme sports whatever.

And yeah I agree with the others the virtuous cycle is save invest and then reinvest.

You thought you were smarter than that now you've learnt otherwise. Don't worry we all have.

But I get the feeling that you live in Italy or maybe in Eastern European country where things are a bit more serious. If you combine owing money with your fairly Brave game Adventures you could windup not getting much older.

I'm not sure there will be a third chance take the second.

If you're living somewhere like Sweden where the government will just come bail you out disregard all my advice

The crypto market has taken a pounding last couple weeks and we are in a bear market - you don't lose any money until you sell just remember that, so just forget about it for a while, maybe set some stop limits to recover your entry points, the market will turn bullish soon.

Land of slow.
You know how it is when you get to the Flop... Man you should stick to wsop or some other version of poker with out so much risk. Video poker anyone? But yea debt can always climb up. If you wait long enough I've heard companies can do a write off but you have to haggle. Learn to complain to the company. That type of thing. But the flop in poker is a real thing. I stick to wsop. Recommend it. Emma stone would love you for it ;-)

I used to gamble until I lost 25K roughly 25 years ago. After that I decided that a fool and his money are soon parted and that I would not part with my hard earned money. I do gamble on special occasions but it's only small amounts. I used to take my dad to the casino before he died. He would give me 300 bucks to gamble with. I kept everything I won over the 300. He would eat it if I lost.

Are you doing personal attacks?

So what did you gamble in ? Since you pay alot for sex
I pay an extremely expendable portion of my bank account for hookers.

I don't care to have any further discussions with you.

Gambling is for idiots. Smart people INVEST.

Isn't house flipping about the best combination of investing/gambling you can think of.

And if you must know, I own 1.8222 miserable a$$ Bitcoins that I'm probably going to sell and break even in the next few days.

Because it's not even an asset. It has no value. There is no way to accurately value something that really has no value.

You don't know that it will go back up. I see no reason why it would.

I think Bitcoin is overvalued if it is above $0.
