what is the best way to answer questions about your dating history? what if your dating history has been very sporadic and disastroys like most rAFC's - something that you don't necessarily brag about, that doesn't necessarily make you look like a DJ:

a few dates in college and after college, more than six months apart usually. a very few short relationships. one or two longer relationships, which ended with you getting dumped. do you admit to this or just lie?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I'd say just keep it vague. It's your past, and none of their business really.

I get asked 'Why are you single?' all the time, or about how many relationships I've had, etc.

My usual response is this: "I guess I'm sort of picky. Sometimes I'll meet a girl who seems great, but it's just them acting the way they think I want them to which I hate. You wouldn't do that, would you?"

That's a direct quote I used on one of the girls Im currently seeing after she started with the questions. She immediately qualified herself to me, saying she would never do that and was 'real'. Then you just direct the conversation elsewhere because you broke her frame. It's the last time she ever asked or brought it up.

It's just another in the long line of tests a women will throw at you. Prepare a good answer for the 'how long should you date before sex' question to, I get that one all the time with women closer to my age.

Couple of answers I use to that one is "You'll just jump me the first time we're alone, so it doesn't matter" (this is a C&F thing, don't use it if it's not done in a joking way). Also, "Whenever the passion is there, I ussually don't feel that on a first date though, maybe 2nd or 3rd if I'm into the girl". After dropping that last one, the girl ussually has the dumbfaced look and then gets a lot more flirty and up's the kino on her end.

These are both very cool answers because they can actually be real while at the same time they make the girl work more towards getting your affection and attention. I like being real and hard to get vs. being c&f which may seem forced and make you seem like a playa.

When a girl asks how your last relationship ended, it is an important question; chances are that if you two get together, one day you'll break up too, right? So you should never show any bitterness toward past girlfriends. Just say that your last relationship ended because you both realized that although you had a good time together, it was time to move on.
