Day One (Wednesday):

A fairly simple and quick approach. I'm in this bar quite often. In fact, this was the first bar that I have ever gone into (and drank) - I celebrated my twenty first birthday at this bar. This bar is my home (heh). Even though... I'm always the youngest person in the bar other then the bartender. I've talked to the bartender (female) a few times, but it's usually nothing more then a quick hello. How's it going? That's good. Alright, one budweiser. Thank you. :) Oh, and I've helped her out a few times by playing bouncer (that bar needs to get one on the weekends, I swear) and breaking up a few bar fights.

She's kind of cute in my standards. Not a full-blown HB10, but not that bad. The bar was sort of dead. It was the perfect setting, since she wasn't running around serving a hundred people at once. I noticed her necklace had some sort of tag on it, so I asked her what the tag said. "Tiffany". Me: "I thought your name was April...". Her: "As in Tiffany Inc". She smiles bends over the bar table to show me the tag. "See. Tiffany Inc." Me: "Ah, gotcha. I like it. It's nice, Tiffany". Her: "Thanks. What?" Me: "What?" Her: "You just called me Tiffany". Me: "Yeah, that's what the necklace says." :) At this time the other bartender (who was just getting off of work) cut in to talk about my digital camera that I showed her a little earlier. Then, the 2nd bartender left.

There was only one other customer in the bar, but he left because he didn't like what April had on the TV. So, we sat around and made fun of him for about 10 minutes. Then, I left.

Day Two (Friday):

My mother brought her new boyfriend over so I could meet him. After drinking a little bit in my room, we head down to the bar for karaoke night. She's working. I get my normal budweiser. I finish it and come back for another beer. After she hands me my beer, "You know what? I'm in the mood for a shot. What's good?". She smiles and hands me a shot of something (it's Yukon Jack). Damn, that was a good drink.

It hit me pretty quickly, and my mother took advantage of that. Knowing I never sing, she puts up a song for me. Did I mention that I'm a little drunk at this point of time? "Next up, we have Derek with Baby Got Back!" ... All I have to say is that I didn't know who to kill, but I wanted to kill someone. lol. I didn't do too bad. I knew the first verse and chorus, but after that... I couldn't keep up. I attempted to keep up though and I guess I didn't do too bad if you can get past the fact that I'd have to skip three or four sentences at a time. Heh.

After the song, I went up for another shot of whatever she gave me before. The lady next to me: "Oh no. You're not going to be too ****ed up, are you?" Me: "After that song, I want to get ****ed up. Now turn around and talk to your friend. Thank you". She hands me the shot. April: "What are you doing tommorow". Me: "I'm not sure yet, why?" April: "Well, I don't work tommorow and I'm thinking about getting drunk." Me: "Here?" April: "Yeah" Me: "Around what time are you thinking?" April: "Probably a little after 10." Me: "Ah. Well, maybe. If I'm not too busy, I'll try to come down and visit you for a little while". April: "Alright :)"

Then, I went back to my apartment and passed out.

The End.

So, she wants me to go have a drink with her tonight. What do you guys think? Discuss.

PART 2: DATE 2

Just got off the phone with another girl. Told her about last night (we like to share drinking story's). Just thought I'd share while the convo is still fresh in my head.

Girl: "So, are you going to meet her?"
Me: "Not sure. I'm short on cash right now. It would cut into my ciggerate money."
Girl: "Smoking or sex. Hmm... Tough decision. What is Yukon Jack, anyway?"
Me: "All I know is that it ****s you up"
Girl: "Either you're a lightweight or I got to get me some of that"
Me: "I bet I could out drink you."
Girl: "Ask anyone, I'm like a tank."
Me: "I'll put twenty on it. If I win, you have to kiss me. If I lose, you still have to kiss me."
Girl: "You don't have twenty."
Me: "I will on Monday"
Girl: "Alright, monday it is. Wait, this bet doesn't seem fair."
Me: "Life's not fair :)"
Girl: "Hehe. Alright, monday it is."
Me: "I'm not sure... It might cut into my ciggerate money"
Girl: "..."
Me: "Let me think about this... Smoking or..."
Girl: "..."
Me: "Well, I'm going to have to go with smoking. But how about Tuesday?"
Girl: "Fine, Tuesday"

Heh. :)

Thanks, Shezz. I wasn't going to give an update, because I didn't feel like anyone was interested in reading field reports anymore, but for those of you who are... It didn't go anywhere. I was really sick so I stayed in bed instead. At first, I thought I was just hungover from the alcohol the night before but as the day progressed it became clear to me that something I ate earlier wasn't agreeing with my body... in short.

Anyway, I'm not sure what's going to happen next. We haven't exchanged numbers since we both already know we'll run into each other in the near future anyway... But I'm thinking next time I'll get her number incase I have to reschedule again. Heh.
