Around here, it is common knowledge that it is detrimental to your cause to show a girl an abundance of attention. Sure, some is a necessary pre requirement before anything can happen but you do need to keep her chasing and wondering rather then just being needy in order to attract her.
I am certain most of you have also heard that people like those people who like them. If you hear some one lieks you, you may even start to like the person more. If you where to think that these two things contradict each other on every levle possible, you would be absolutly correct.
What i have noticed is that whilst the first of the two paragraphs is correct. The second one is observed as being correct, but infact, is what happens when you are already attracted to someone, and have not been able to get with the girl. You allow yourself to think you have no interest in her, in order to protect your feelings. If you hear she likes you, suddenly all those feelings come back again.
