Im in the market to buy a pair of running shoes. I got shin splints from running on bad shoes. my price range is up to $100, the lower the better.

Are Nike Shox worth the premium, or am I better off with a good pair of New Balance running shoes?

Thanks

The trainer I consult with at my gym told me to get some running shoes. I went to a running store and got a pair of Saucony shoes. I liked them so much I bought a pair of Saucony trail shoes to wear in the winter instead of boots. I'm just not a nike person anymore I think other brands are better but that's just my opinion.

It doesn't matter. Most of it is show....go with what feels right...go to a running store and have them observe the way you walk....

You are much better off with a good pair of New Balance running shoes; Nike Shox are worthless.
