Im just curious to see what people have to say about this cause Im having a debate with a friend of mine. If you know that there might be some interest from her and you as well how effective is it to say
(Lets say that your seeing a girl on and off nothing serious)

Convo
Her: Ok well lets plan on me coming down tomorrow
Guy: Actually tomorrow is not so good i kind of promised this girl that i would go to her bday party

How will this effect the girls IL will it scare them away or will it make there IL higher and make them basically feel competitive and come after you more??

Why not just try it yourself and let us know what happens?

It depends on how you mention it.. in a matter-of-factly offhand manner, it could help your game abit. If you over do it and sound like you are boasting then you're fvcked.

In my opinion, if such a party did exist, you might want to try reframing this by asking the girl if she wants to go to the party with you. I've field tested this before and it almost always works. Sometimes the girl will try and make you change your mind and go out with her instead. In that case i will strike a compromise of some sort like turning up at the party and then going to another place together after that. Just my opinion though, i would like to hear more about how other people think about this as well

well actually did do this. It came out of my mouth without me even knowing it next thing i knew she was like why would i want to come down for that? It probably helped out though.

It will make her jealous of the other girl and she'll try to get you to like her more than the other girl.
