How did you guys always stay aware of your behavior when you were DJ's? I'm trying to become more assertive/confident, but I always find myself saying unconfident or dumb things just by habit and only catching myself afterwards... also for body language I'm also finding it relaly hard to control because sometimes when I see a girl I just start doing stuff like scratching my head and I don't even realize I'm doing it.

Do stuff that requires confidence to succeed - sports, public speaking, etc...

Get yourself out of your comfort zone more often.

You can't fake "confidence." You can be more assertive, but stop trying to consciously appear confident because you place an unnecessary amount of pressure on yourself. Try to be more comfortable with who you are and things will flow more naturally.

Be interested, but not so interested that you're desperate. You do have other priorities in life that woman isnt the top of your list.
But you make time for them because your schedule is open.

It's all about security and knowing the outcome. insecurity of an uncertain outcome will almost always screw up your confidence.

That's what i've come to realize as of late.
