Hey, this girl I just went out with is really into me and she said that she's gonna call me tomorrow. What the hell should I do? After a date, I normally want the girl to stay away from me for a few days then I'll make date #2 about 5 days later. I don't want to rush things, but I also don't want to give this chick the cold shoulder. Should I make up some respectable excuse not to see the girl too soon again or should I tell her I don't want to rush things? Opinions appreciated.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I got an idea...


If she wants to go out with me the next day or something. I'll say "I know something we can do, but it's on Tuesday." Then if she tries to ask me what it is I won't tell her and keep it a surprise. This will create excitement for her and buy me some time for her to obsess over me more. Then I'll give her a call in a few days and rent a movie at my place. Yes! that should work fine.
