This is what I figured out is the best way to either keep a girl interested for a long time, or get a new girl interested.

By consistently inconsistent, I mean unpredictable, but all the time. When I was with my gf for five months (I broke it off cause I wanted to meet new people), I would be inconsistent all the time. Sometimes I would call her several times a day, and then not call her for several days in a row, and when she would call me I wouldn't answer. She couldn't get enough of me, she was constantly thinking about where I was or what I was doing. Also when I meet a girl for the first time I try to stay inconsistent with what I say. I will tell her that I don't like needy girls and that I just want to be single and look for a good time, then follow it up with saying how I;m a hopefless romantic who is looking for that one and special girl. It seems to get them laughing if they don't believe it, or it keeps them wondering if they actually do believe it.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

well like i said. With one of them, i was her bf for 5 months til i cut it off. If i didnt she would have never dumped me, im pretty sure she fell in love with me, but never told me cause she knew i wouldnt say it back. If i didnt dump her it would have gone on for a pretty long time I imagine. Its just basic unpredictability, which girls complain that the problem with nice guys is their predictability.
