Alright gents, quick question. This girl I met recently, everything points to such a high interest level that I deliberately haven't kissed her because the chase is more fun than the actual capture usually.
Today however, I was planning the capture and called her over. Played ****y, had her laughing like crazy over the phone, and then I get home late. So I tell her I need till 9:45 to get dressed as opposed to the previous 9:30 (when we were supposed to meet), and she informs me that she's told her parents that she'll be in her room at 10:15 to take a call, so maybe we can get together tomorrow instead.
Is she flaking on me, or is this legit since she gave me another time? Sorry, but I tend to err heavily on the side of caution, so flakes confuse me.
Let me know your opinions....

I have a friend whose parents really do call her to make sure she's in her dorm room at their specified time - she's Japanese, and her parents are incredibly strict about her studies.

However, you definetly should have finalized plans for tomorrow instead of just letting her off the phone. Don't write her off just yet - see what happens, but remember to get something solid the next time something like this occurs, yeah?

In my college, we do most things through email, so I emailed her to tell her I'd be late so she should come in late. And she emailed back with that. I told her to come after the call and she said "How about tomorrow? I'll be too tired after to do anything but sleep".

My response: "we'll see..."
so I could email her and say yes to tomorrow. If she flakes again, she's written off....

Who knows if she's flaking. The point is, she's not really making you look like a chump by not seeing you. It's not like you got all ready and waited at some restaurant for hours.

Is this really flaking? I thought flaking was telling a girl to meet you some where and she flat out forgets about it. Then when they you call them they're out doing something else and they tell you they completely forgot about it.

I know when I tell people I "flaked" on something it means I just plain forgot abou it and I hear the same from other people as well.

This sounds like a case of poor excuses as to why she can't meet up with and whether or not you believe her. In which case it doesn't sound like too bad of an excuse. She told her parents she'd be in bed by 10:15? What grade are you in? Even when I was a freshman I could stay out till midnight minimum (unless the person I was going to see lived on the other side of the world).

Regardless I'd say not to get too worked up about this one. If she'll see you later then she'll see you later. If it happens again and again then I'd start to get worried.

As a general rule, if a girls IL is high, she'll walk barefoot across broken glass to make it to a date. That's why you should ask questions when they do things like this.

Maybe you'd better get round to kissing her, give her a bit of a taster, remind her of what she was supposed to be chasing you for.

Dominant + PRMoon, I'll see how tonight goes. I intend to close the deal OR move on tonight depending on how things go. If it goes bad, its a Wednesday night (Frat meeting night) so there should be new options opening right up.

Her excuse could be very legit, since she's from Europe and so her parents are on a different clock, and she probably doesnt get to speak to them much otherwise. So I probably was jumping the gun...
