caller ID on cell phones

The DJ bootcamp says to get your number blocked from caller ID, or use *67 to block caller ID on individual calls. The only phone I have is my cell phone, and most girls who give me their numbers give me their cell phone number.

Does anyone know if *67 works for cell phones the same way that it works for land line phones?

On my cell, dialing *69 doesn't work, but there is an option in one of the menus that allows you to call anonymously.

I don't think this is really necessary though. If you always call a girl from an Unknown number, she is eventually going to begin to associate an Unknown number with you calling.

Well, you don't ALWAYS use an unknown number, just the first time or two. This way, if you don't get through to her the first time, she doesn't know you've attempted to call her. (If she knows you've called too many times, it makes you seem desperate).

You know, strange, here people ages 14 - 28 or so don't even use the normal phone when contacting each other, just the cellphone. So here you always get the cellphone from a chick, so the game's a bit different than on the normal phone.
If you block your number it kind of turns out weird, because praytell - why would you want her not to see your number? Are you some kind of weirdo? Well!? Are you!?!?
So here with cellphones it's like this, you call her once, if she doesn't answer, don't call again, if she's interested, she'll call back.

Thats a dumb idea....how she gonna know if its you calling? Dude thats way OVER DJ'ing a girl....to extreme
