I don't see any reason why you don't just get a 1 year contract. I've had one plan or another since I was 17 years old... for the past 4 years. 40-50 bucks a month really isn't that much when you put it in perspective... that's, what, 6 meals at McDonalds?

I have the same phone you have man. I love it honestly.
I have to say though, it depends on how often you use it. If you use it a lot, cards are gonna add up quickly. If you are like me and don't use it for more than "where you at?" then it should be great.
As far as the service goes...I get service basically everywhere I go.
