I have been reading these boards for while now and I have decided to finally post. There is this girl I am kinda interested in and it seems like she may feel the same but I am not really sure. I met this girl at work maybe 6 months ago and I didnt initally pursue her because at the time she had a bf. She broke up with her bf little while back and seems to be showing some interest in me. A few weeks back she asked if she could go workout with me and I said that would be cool. We had a good time and I was teasing her the whole time she kept touching my arms telling me how big they were. About 2 weeks ago I asked her to go to lunch with me at the dining hall and she said she could meet me there but could not eat because she was suppose to meet her friend at some restaurant. She met me there and ended up hanging around while I ate and she ended up meeting her friend like an hour after she was suppose to. As she was leaving she got up to walk away and then turned back gave me a hug smiled and then left. She is always giving me eye contact and smiling and well we always have good conversations and she is always grabbing my arm talking of how cold she. Well these all seem to be good signs but for the past few weekends she has told me to call her and we could go out partying. Well I have done this a couple of times and she usually dosent answer her phone or call me back. She always instant messages me first on aim and a few days ago she did so and asked me to have lunch with her the next day. Well this didnt end up happening for good reasons but she told me to call her that night after work. I gave her a call and as usual she did not answer or call me back. She seems to be interested but I am not really sure. I think Ive been throwing her mixed signals and I think maybe she dosnet know if I am interested. I am just not sure and this is really confusing me. I am thinking of giving her a call tomorrow and asking her to go to the fair one day next week. What do you think about all this?

Its the other way around. She is throwing you mix signals, but she seems to be playing with your mind, because if she was truly intrested she would pick up the phone and stop with the games.

Trust me this chick knows you are interested. You jump on every chance to meet with her. Thats a bad thing.

She broke up with her BF, but if he dumped her, she might be looking for your attension that you validate to her that she is still attractive. Never go by a girl signals but by her actions and the only way to do so is to ask for her phone number and then call her to set a date, then see how she reacts.

By the way don't go for chicks from work, because if it doesn't work out its going to blow up in your face and you might have to quit or be fired if it goes really bad and ugly.

Thanks for the reply. I have read about not hooking up with anyone you work with and luckly she quit like a month ago. As far as the the deal with her and her ex she broke up with him. I havent jumped at the chance to hang out with her everytime she has offered. There have been several times where she has told me to call her to hang out and I havent and the next time I would see her she would ask why I didnt call and I would just tell her I was busy.

She wants you to take the initiative.

well I just got a call from this girl about an hour ago and she asked me again to meet her for lunch. At first I told her I was busy then she offered another time. I then told her I was busy then too. She finally offered a third time and I said ok. What do you think about this?

Personally, If I wanted to see her, I would intiuate the call, and ask her to hang out with me doing whatever I wanted to do say like " hey I am buzy that day but tomorrow I am going shopping for some cloths and I may require an expert input, come with me".

When you set up a casual date, there is less pressure on you, but it don't mean you should stop being C&F and kinoing her.

Its good that you told her you were buzy but in the end you still gave her what she wanted under her terms.

I am not to crazy about Lunches, its to casual for me. It could be something or it could be just a friendly gesture. This girl seem to like you but the only way to find out is grab your balls and go for it. If you hang out with her to much and don't take the initiative as setting up a date and kiss her, you well end up (or already there) in the LJBF zone. If she rejects you, then move on.

Well I had lunch yesterday with this girl. I met her at the time we had set up and we proceeded to go to the dining hall and get some food. It seemed to go pretty good the conversation was good and there werent any moments of silence. I took every chacnce she threw to tease her and seemed to eat it up. I forgot to grab a few things a she got up and go them for me. After we finished eating she I told her I was gonna head to class and asked her to walk with me since she was headed the same way. We continued to talk and she kept bumping into me the whole way. She asked me a few times what I was do for fall break and she said we should hang out. I told her I was gonna probably gonna hit up the fair one day and asked if she wanted to join me. Well she didnt answer me but started talking about how she was scared to go to the fair since there was a shooting there the other night. As I got to the building where my class was I asked her again if she wanted to join me at the fair and she told me she didnt know. She said she dosnet have any money, which well I know she really dosent, she then smiled and said possibly though. So I told her I would give her a call and she said ok. Our time together seemed to go really good and she seemed to really be interested in me but this really confused me at the end. Should I give her a call tomorrow and offer something that dosent involve any money at all.
