K so i'm 18 and just starting out in college and there's this FINE junior at my old HS. we worked together for a little bit at the waterpark for about the first week of the summer, so that's pretty much the only reason we know each other. she's a real down to earth girl who's not always with a guy (especially not one her own age). so anyways i've seen her a couple times in the past 2 months (at football games and whatnot), and she gives me a hug and seems really nice to me. On friday she was with her girl friends at the game and she yelled hello from a couple rows back. i obliged and asked how she was doing, etc., but dammit i didn't go up to sit next to her, partly cuz im kinda iffy with one of the girls she was with, but yeah, the next time i just happen to bump into her, im definitely interested in getting her digits and setting up a date. i know it sounds like an ideal situation (rapport, is nice to me, etc.) but im really looking for tips from the forum if not only for a confidence boost, but something to really get me going.

This is exactly what I am taling about. Isn't there a kiddies corner somewhere? They have a mature men 25 and over but most 25 year olds are still kids.

Gee mate, how to get you pumped? You are 18, this is as pumped as you will get. There is a reason they send 18 year olds to war, not just because they are single but usually have more testosterone than brains. What does it matter? Just do what a normal person would do and be done with it.

This is a prime example of an AFC who has NO intention of being anything but an AFC, trying to get a "one up" jump start over his AFC buddies and AFC girl and AFC World.

You are 18 and you need to know how to what? Intereact with a person? Come on guys, do we have to listen to this stuff?

Here, get your best freind to slip her best friend a note saying that you think she's real cool and say that you will have milk with her after lunch behind the sheds. That should get ya leg over.

first off, i'm a little offended at your assumption that i want to remain an AFC. see, i went through high school only getting one girlfriend, and only for a short time in TENTH grade! In my senior year i came accross this site and started to learn tons of things. among them were the the mistakes i did not even know i had been making over and over and over again. i started playing guitar and finding other occupations besides chasing women with futility. i decided to work on myself and only pursue a relationship if it fully presented itself. along the way i've even turned down a couple "sure things" because they werent what i was looking for physically or otherwise. Now here i'm asking for a little advice regarding my situation so that i get off on the right foot with this girl and you treat me like some mindless drone. you should really think before you label people like that.

But does anyone else have a REAL suggestion here?

Fine.

First: you are older than she is, and not only a few months older. You should see her as the equivalent of an easy lay -- no challenge. If you're not looking for challenging and want the girl, then just go for her. There should be absolutely no problems here -- you're older, she's a kid. Just take control.

Second: You need to get her numbers. The basics. Do it next time. No ideal, no 'what if', just do it. I expect you to just plow in and get your way.

See, there we go, that works! Now i just have to wait until i see her again
