This is a step by step guide called "The System" by Roy Valentine. I've altered it a little to my liking, but if you want the actual version, then order it from Amazon.com.
STEP 1
Put yourself in a position where the woman you want will be able to check you out. I suggest you be standing so she can get a good look at your whole package. Do not make any eye contact with her at this time. You want her to be able to get a good look at you without the chance of her getting busted for checking you out. I suggest taking a wingman with you and have him watch from a distance and let you know when she has gotten a good look at you. After you're sure she has checked you out, then move on to STEP 2.
Note: The book's version is about getting laid with whichever women are attracted to you. The book says to scan the area that you're at and watch for the ones that are checking you out. These are the ones that you'll have a better chance with. Once you find one that's eyeing you, then move on to the next step.
STEP 2
Once you're sure she has checked you out, then try to make eye contact with her. If you make eye contact and she then avoids any further attempt to look at you, then she's probably not interested. If she does maintain eye contact with you, continue to hold eye contact for a few seconds and then look away. After a few more seconds, look back at her with a smile. If she smiles back at you or tries to hold back a smile, then move on to STEP 3.
STEP 3
After you find that your target is probably interested, you must now achieve proximity. This is done by waiting a couple of minutes and then gradually make your way over within talking distance of the woman. Don't make a frontal approach!! It's better to make it look like you ended up close to her by coincidence.
STEP 4
Now that you're within talking distance, it's time to start a conversation. Start off with a comment about the current surroundings. Example: Mention something about what she's wearing or drinking. I like D97's suggestion of using this line:
Hi, I noticed how pretty you are and had to take a second to see what you were like. I changed the wording around, but something along these lines will be good enough.
The whole purpose of this step is to see if she gives you positive or negative signals.
Positive signals are: 1) good eye contact 2) her touching you 3) her being receptive to you touching her.
Bad signals are: 1) she turns her attention away from you 2) checks out other guys that are walking by 3) pays more attention to her cell phone than she does to you 4) she stiffens up when you touch her.
I suggest to focus most of your attention on her eyes and facial expressions. We're all born with the natural instinct of knowing when someone is happy or sad just by facial expressions. Just try to keep this simple and don't worry about all that body language stuff that is written in those books. TRUST YOUR GUT!! It will give you a good indication on if the woman is interested or not.
STEP 5
If her signals are still positive, then start asking questions about her. We all know that a woman's favorite subject to talk about is herself. Also, sometime during your conversation use the push and pull technique. The reason to use this technique is to keep her guessing whether or not you like her. Example: Tell her that you think she's really pretty, but you're not sure if she's your type of woman.
After talking with her for a bit, it's time to see if she's comfortable enough with you.
STEP 6
It's now time to try and close the deal. Find some reason to get the woman to come back to your place. Some examples are: 1) to check out your CD or any other kind of collection you have 2) to check out your dog and all the cool tricks he knows 3) to check out this new mixed drink you invented.
It really doesn't matter what reason you give her. She should be mature enough to know the real reason you want her to come to your place.
If she declines your offer, then go back to having a conversation. She might not be comfortable enough with you yet. After a little more conversation, make another offer for her to come to your place. If she still declines after a couple of attempts, then just try to set up a date with her for another night. She just might need more time to decide about you.
If you did succeed in getting her to your place, then the rest is up to you to be the man and put the moves on her.
