I feel like people are watching me when I do approaches. Is it just me?

nope, not just you, I always like to watch and laugh when I see other guys doing approaches, its fukcing hilarious!! hahaha.

Although I know the feeling! Yesterday I did an approach in the library to this absoultey stunning girl! She had a guy "friend" next to her. lol. Was embarassing but who cares, I had everyone in the vacinity listening and watching, I could even see them watching and they would look down when I looked at them. Nyways, chick offered me a chair next to her after talking for a minute, then her male friend got pizzed and walked off (he cant compete with me, haha), then I went and sat elsewhere. Before she left she came up and appraoched me, now it was her turn to get watched and laughed at, lol. Sometimes embarassing but all pretty funny! Nyways, that was some digits and this chick is smokin!

Thanks PRL, yeah lol, all my friends were like WTF, she is tight. But none would approach, so I finally got them all to go to another part of the library and I made my move!

Nyways, I wasnt SURE he was just a friend of hers, but it was quiet obvoius. I just assumed, because he was sort of awkward talking to her (I think they must have been doing an assignment together), and because he had posture like your average chump and she was smokin! lol. She was quiet the package, very good communication skills, well spoken, hot and great poise, not hard to start a convo with (unlike some of these no-hoper woman these days!!) Also I have seen this girl around before always with a smokin friend of hers or by herself.

Yeah, the public approach is scary. It cranks up the 'rejection' fear much higher as you're humiliated in front of everyone if you fail. And if you're stuck somewhere, like on a train, you can't even leave if it goes wrong.

But think about this: every time you wimp out of an approach, you reduce your chances in the numbers game. And sometimes the girls who you might meet on the bus, or behind a shop counter with the rest of the queue watching etc might not meet guys many other places. This might be their only serious exposure to the public. So if you do successfully approach, you might well get to enjoy a lesser-plowed field.

In short, those who have the balls to approach anywhere outcompete those who do not.

People talk about 'overcoming' your fear of rejection, but you never overcome it entirely, you only beat it up to a certain level, and so there's still worse types of rejection that will make you curl up into a ball inside.

Your feeling is correct. You ARE being watched when you approach. In fact, if I saw you approach a hot girl and fail, I'd immediately go up to the woman and use your horrible attempt to my advantage. haha

Don't worry about it man. Just do your thing. The guys who stand around and watch will snicker if you get blown out but if you succeed they will stand around in awe of you. The sweet successes make the failures worth it.

Yeah but on those occasions when you step up and walk past a bunch of AFCs and close the3 HB they were drooling over...it's like hitting a home run in your home parkin front of a stadium full of people you don't like.
