there are hundreds of brown sauces. you look like a dumbass when you expect everyone to know exactly what you are talking about.
secondly, most sauces are consumed in miniscule quantities. its ridiculous to think that a sauce would have any critical effects on a diet.
Workerouter knows quite a bit about what it takes to make an ass out of oneself (relax dude, just messin with ya) but in this case, by golly, I do believe he is right! It IS a little ridiculous to worry about the effect a sauce might have.
I LOVE brown sauce on my bacon butties or with a Full English!

Worcestershire sauce is thinner like vinegar and goes great on scrambled egg or cheese on toast and in a number of dishes during cooking.
Brown sauce is thicker - like ketchup but brown and spicier.
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

As for the original poster, you do have to consider the amount of the sauce you are eating as well as the contents of the sauce. Just about anything can be worked into a balanced diet.

With foods like bacon butties it's a mystery why you Uk'ers don't die of heart disease by age 40.
i find it hard to believe it isn't popular in the US
since i eat so damn much of it, it has an effect on my diet
i usually go through about 400g of it a week (half a big bottle) which means i'm getting over 100g of carbs a week from it
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
