well theres this girl im interested in. thing is, we are kind of close, as in she might actually just consider me a friend. this week and last week shes been growing on me. she laughs at my dumb jokes and stuff but i dont know how to get the hint with her (shes harder than other girls i tend to hook up with cuz other girls are much easier to see if they like you or if they dont).

she came into my room with two friends on monday when i was sick and away from school to see how i was and even hugged me when she was like "uh, i feel so sorry for you?"

thing is maybe she thinks of me too much as a good friend for anything to happen between us. or maybe shes playing hard to get. cuz its ****ing impossible to try to figure her out.
so yesterday i went by her room and we talked for about an hour. i guess it was okay.

while we were talking i said something like "i think love is in the eyes rather than in the words we speak... cuz there are a variety of good things we can say but there is only one look that hits a note..." after that i looked deep into her eyes (i thought it was pretty smart cuz if theres one thing chicks say they like about me its my eyes). she looked back and didnt really look away.

i asked her if she was going into town for this weekend and she said yeah, so i was like "okay... then im gonna meet you". she was like "yeah". then she asked me for my phone number and i was like "i dont have my phone with me. but ill get your number". so i get up paper and pen while were talking and she goes "alright, let me give you my number thoe...." and she gives it to me. but it turns out a chick friend of hers (and mine) is gonna live there for the whole weekend. so i dont think im gonna call.

however, one bad thing happened. she said something about her not being flirtaticious so i was like "arent you sometimes?" so she was like "do you think im flirting with you right now?" so i was like "i dont know..." and she was like "....well im not"

theres also this thing going on between her and this dude (who looks like a nerd) in the home next to her (we attend a boarding school). shes told me about it before and told me she was gonna go in there later during the evening. so i go "why?", so she says "cuz he asked me how it was in amsterdam this weekend? and i told him id talk to her later". so her friend comes into the room were sitting in and goes "come, were going in to talk to him now". so then they leave.
so i ask today how it was talking to him she goes "okay. he let me borrow his slipper to walk back in". she also tells me how much she missed us (me and my friends but it more refers to me prolly cuz they dont talk to her much) when she was on her basketball tournament. so i go "okay. more than the guy who lives across from you?" she goes "yeah".

whats it sound like to you? do you have any suggestion how i can get her to be a little more clear in her message or if i can get any clue.

I think she's been as clear as she can be without hurting your feelings. BTW, the part that I quoted...that's pathetic, man. It's none of your business what she does with this other guy. You're obviously worried and jealous and I GUARANTEE you she's noticed.

In all seriousness, you sound like the classic "nice guy." I'm sure she loves you to death...just not in a guy-girl way. You are her girlfriend. Her JEALOUS girlfriend at that.

well i dont care too much about that other dude since i know hes a pansy and 9 girls out of 10 would say i look better than he does. everyone teases her for it in her home.

but maybe youre right. maybe i am being a bit pathetic.

but i am more of the ****y, funny dude around girls. except i think i accidentally slipped up and opened up to her (tend to do that with girls that i do actually like).
