I approached a machine near this HB8 who was working on another machine nearby. I gave her a quick look as I approached it, she was already looking at me. But I couldn't lock eyes here without going out of my way( I was turning).

I walked very confidently with my head up around the area by my machine because I was still resting from my last exercise and wanted to keep the blood circulating. I turned to face her, she was looking right at me and I looked back and she held it and so did I. She looked away after 3-4 seconds. This happened a few times over 5 minutes. Then one time when she was looking right at me (but from a different machine, a little farther away), I looked at her for a second or two and then smiled. It was an unsure/insecure smile. I held it for about one to one and half seconds, and then broke it. No reaction from her whatsoever.except for that she might have moved her eyes to my nose or forehead, but continued to look at me. Since I didn't get a reaction, I got nervous and turned away. Immediatly afterward, I continued walking around with my head up looking at my muscles in the mirror and acted like it didn't phase me.

Also, don't know if it means anything but my machine was next to the drinking fountain and she came by to get a drink 4 times in a during a 10-15 minute period.

Go talk to her after three seconds or you'll give yourself time to remf out. Seriously man , I don't mean to dis but you just posted about LOOKING at a girl. You can do better than that.

lol...yeah it's lame...i know...but before coming to this board..I always walked around with my head down and ALWAYS lookd away when a girl looked at me. or even if a girl touched me I would act like it was my offense and "run" away. I'm just trying to learn.

I was just curious what it meant when she was looking at me. And why she was indifferent to my smile?


So next time in that situation, I should put my water bottle on my equipment (to indicate that I"m using it) I'm using then walk over to the machine next to her, sit down, and say "hey how's your workout going"? I can see my myself doing it smooth and it working. But I have a good feeling I would do such a move insecurely and be scared as hell once I said those first words to her.

Unless you APPROACH, all the Eye contact and smiling in the world means absolutely NOTHING. She could be giving you a "fvck me hard" smile and rubbing her pvssy in front of you, but if you don't say something to her then there's no point at all in asking any questions. You can find out exactly what she feels and thinks about you just by finding some excuse to talk to her. Ask her how long she has to go on that machine and go from there if necessary..

Yeah, I've been there. You messed up your chance dude. If she makes eye contact with you and smiles, that means you just got your foot in the door. I can't count the times I had such a chance, but failed to follow through. Of course, now things are different and the next time that happens to me, I'll approach her. If you wait too long, then you will start second guessing yourself. Remember this, If you can learn to crave rejection(or at least don't let it fase you) then your good to go.

Yeah go over there and talk to her , but don't leave your water bottle behind, if you're not using the equipment then let some other guy use it. I mean what say a guy was halfway through weighting up a 2/4 split set and was waiting for the pec deck you're "using". You get eye contact with this girl, go over and start convo , he's still waiting.You bust some C+F , then some SS patterns he's still waiitng , and now it;s time for him to go onto a freeweights set but he's still one set behing cos you "reserved" that pec deck. Now you'll be as.sbanging this girl bent over the tricep flys machine , and the poor guy has missed out an another round of his 2/4 split which means he's either got to cross down or start over!! Finally while you're watching this girl lick your man goo out of her own as.shole before you'll go back to the pec deck and finish up, you've proably ruined the guys entire session. So selfish!
