Don Juan
There was a big party announced on our university, so I decided to go there and learn. My goal was to approach and gain experience. In past I left far too early, so this time I commited myself to stay on a party till 0:30 even if it would be dull and boring.
Motto: "Our task in life is not to succeed, but to continue to fail in good spirits."
I walked inside. I walked around and discovered that the club was just my type. Nice people, hot girls, all at my age range, nice music, big. Nice prospects all over the place. Basically there were only two types of girls there - hot slutty kind of types (not my type) and hot intelligent types (my type). A very few below 5, girl to guy ratio: 2:1. Heaven on earth.
First I approached two guys bc I felt more comfortable with it. Approached with "Hi, I'm Beige, I'm here to meet people, can I join in?". Then "What where are you studying" (they don't) and it went smoothly from that point. I noticed however that there were not a kind of people I wanted to be associated with so I bailed out.
I noticed a girl standing alone by the bar: "So, you're here alone?", "huh?", "You're with someone?", "I work here", "Oh, a nice place", "It will get more crowded soon", "Nice talking to you, bye".
I went upstairs, walked a few rounds, noticed 2 girls sitting by themselves. Walked away and returned after a while. Opened with: "Can I sit here?" . "We'll waiting for someone, but you can sit for a while". I sat down. They were looking at the stage and didn't pay attention to me, but I asked them a few questions anyway. "Where do you study" and so on, one of them responded by asking me where I do study, I answered and they returned to watching the scene. "I'll go now, bye".
Walked downstairs. I noticed a group of 5 people with two girls. Not excatly my type, but nice looking. Approached with something more sophisticated: "I'm a computer science student, I'm here to meet people and work on my social skills, can I join in?" (sat down without waiting for an answer). The group was very friendly, they asked me what do I study, I answered and asked them the same question, they made me guess (answer: law), convo went pretty nice, I teased one of the girls about her outfit (it glowed in UV and contrasted with most people's clothes) which I think rose her IL because she asked her friend about me quietly, I told her that I'm sitting here so she can ask me directly and teased her a little more ("I know what would you like to wear too, pink, but not normal, an, sorry for swearing, eyef*cking one. It would definetly bring everyone's attention when there is no UV around, you'd love it"). And talked some more to group. After a while I said: "See you later" and left.
Walked some more, went to the upper stage (techno, pop kind of music), listened for a while, wento to the lower stage (latino music), began dancing, noticed the group, but didn't join in. I joined some dancing circle, danced there for a while and then extendend hands to an HB8 dancing near me, she grabbed them and I rotated her and danced for a little while. Then left.
[A small tip: easiest way to get a girl on the dance floor is to get her hand and rotate her, it's absolutely foolproof]
Walked some more. Listened to more music, went to buy a drink (coca-cola: ). As I was standing in a line I noticed three girls behind me, so I opened with: "So, you're first time here?", Then: "You look scared" to one of them, some other: "Not scared, tired", "Of what?" (memory hole) "So, what do you study?" "Law" "First year?" "No, fourth" "Oh, you don't look that old" (a neg hit in my language). Finally bought my drink, said "Bye" and walked away.
Again - lower stage. This time when I noticed two girls from the group I said "hi", and began dancing with one of them (latino dance lessons payed off finally!). Then went to dance with some other chicks. Left to upper stage, listened to the music. The group arrived so I danced with them some more, I tried latino stuff with one of girls, it didn't quite work out but it was nice anyway.
Went back to the place where I met three girls. They were sitting at the table near so I joined in. "So, you study law?" "Yes" "And why are you tired?" "We're waiting for food" "You eat in clubs? They must starve you on that university!". Food arrived, tried chatting some more, finished with "This food smells really bad, I'll be going now, I'll talk to you later", in response I got a wave, "Don't come back looser" kind of a wave.
Later on I hoped to see them and talk to them some more to practice my skills and rehabilitate, but it didn't happen.
Walked some more, danced some more. I was getting bolder at latino dancing - took two girls from the group and danced with them simultanously : )
As midnight was getting closer it was harder and harder to find any prospects sitting at the tables. I decided to approach at least once more. There were two girls sitting by a table, but no free chair to sit. "Hi, I'm computer science student, I'm here to practice my social skills, can I join and learn something from you?" "Ok", dragged a chair in a most unsmooth move ever, "So, what would be a best pickup line a guy could say?" (a long pause) "I think that there is no such line", "Hm, so where do you study?".. Talked with them for a while. There were long silences involved when I didn't have anything to say, but hey - I told them that I was learning. "So, I'll go and learn some more, bye".
Walked, danced, decided to leave. Took a final round, met the group sitting by the table. I said that I was going now and it was nice to meet them, a girl in UV suit said that it was nice to meet me too. I didn't # close (note to myself: when there are no red flags visible - always try to #close!) although I think I could've managed to do that.
As I was leaving I met two girls from the last table. They were leaving to, and they were going to my neighbourhood! What a coincidence! I walked with them to the bus stop talked for a while "Hey, one of my first nights out and I'm leaving club with two hotties!". Our bus arrived at 0:36. Some time later we parted, didn't #close but don't regret - absolutely not my type.
1:30 - finally arrived home.
2:00 - began writing the report
3:00 - ended writing the report
6:30 - wake up
A few words that I'd like to add - what I learned today is that an approach doesn't matter that much. In case of doubt - say whatever comes to your mind - it's better that not saying anything.
When it comes to dancing - if you notice a girl dancing near you don't try to wonder if she is interested, if she came closer to you by accident or not. Act.
I was alone and I approached a group of 3 girls, two pairs of girls, one alone, one pair of guys and one mixed group. It was first time I approached at a club and definetly not the last one. My goal for this night was to approach and gain experience. I succeeded.
