Basically, i've been gettin' lots of mixed signals by this chick at my work. She initiated convo's with me very often (about really random ****...) when we first started working, but at other times she just ignores me...so i called her a few times (she gave me her number)...she came and partied with me once...things went ok...the next two times she didn't call me until after the night was over to tell me that she forgot that she was busy or some bullshyt like that...anyways, i took that as a hint and stopped pursuing her. Now i merely acknowledge her presence with a "hi"...not too much more...yesterday at my works training class i was in the back on a cell phone talking to a girl while the teacher was trying to talk...the instructor didn't seem to care, but the girl i've been talking about walked up to me from the middle of the class and grabbed the phone and said "im sorry he's at work, he'll can talk later.." she gave it back to me and i said "o, it's just some girl " (to the person on teh phone) and she turned around and mouthed "just some girl??!?!?!?" looking offended in a kind of joking manner...

now what the **** does that mean...it was EXTREMELY random but came off as kinda of flirtatious... we make eye contact a lot...i dunno if she's into me or not....any opinions...??????????????????

Well, you could confront her about this. I mean, there is something going on with her and she might be jelous. I guess it just comes down to how much this bothers you or if you need closure.

I feel that came off as rude but if you think it was flirtatious go up to her and ask her if she's looking for anything from you. If not, back the &$%# off.

im pretty sure it was in a joking//flirtatious manner...i wasn't really being to loud or interrupting so if she was being rude then...i'll have to rape her...lol

When I'm into a girl I give mixed signals. Ask her out, make it clear that you're asking her out, and if she flakes on you again next her.

The "mixed signals" are that sometimes she talks to you, sometimes not? and she flaked a few times? Looks like low Interest Level. But have you ever been on a one on one date together or even kissed her? It's unclear.

I don't think it's a shyness issue judging from the phone antics, the "just a girl!" comment, the fact she initiated convos before and gave you her number (without you asking?). She appears to have a high confidence level.

Possible reason is she knows youre attracted to her now so she feels she can get away with that stunt above, plus she thinks she doesn't need to flirt anymore to get/keep you hooked. Her desirability has been validated (some chicks need to know every guy likes them - a power and control issue).

Does she act this way with other guys at work too? If yes that would indicate an attention wh0re.

no, the teacher couldn't hear me....nobody seemed to care at all. trust me...it was just random...

JJMcLure - the comment WAS intended to be a bit of a put-down...i have not been on a one on one date with her nor have i kissed her. She DID give me her number without me asking for it, but it was because i mentioned a party i was going to over the weekend...she also had my screen name cus i gave it to her in case she needed help on some english assignment she had due. SHE msged me one night (not cus she needed help) she said "what's up" balblal...just msged me to talk...but she has never msged me again...it could be that she has LOST interest in me...

JJMclure seems to have the most sensible grasp on the issue at hand.

In my personal opinion she seems to be doing too much bullsh1t to warrant further pimping. Like someone else said earlier, perhaps you should try one final time for a ONE ON ONE date. If she accepts it will basically depend on your DJ skill in order to reign victorious.

If she denies you, NEXT.

Put yourself in her shoes and see if you can understand why she did that.

First, she doesn't give a sh1t whether you were disrupting the class or not.

She was pissed off at you first because you took the attention away from her before and second because she was jealous that you were talking to another girl on the cell (as if she couldn't tell you were talking to a girl.)

Her emotions overwhelmed her and she felt the need to STRIKE OUT AT YOU. She couldn't stop herself.

She is just one of those Office Attention Wh0res. Just stay away from her and, if you get the chance to have another cell phone convo with a girl in her presence again, make it a really good one.
