Using a Mouse - - - Wrist Injuries

Using a computer is my job and hobby. Just want to know, after all these years using the mouse, will my wrist get injured from some sort of not resting or something?
I remember reading a manual and it said something about possible injuries, could you guys tell me what's going on? I don't have the manual now.
