There is a girl I know for quite a while. She really likes me and we really have a good time when we are together even thought we never spent alot of time. She is very closed to herself ever since her fiance cheated on her about 8-9 years ago and her plans to get married were ruined. She is a warm person but some times I get some coldness from her as a result of her past breakup(s).

She is the type of girl that won't keep up with you unless you try to motivate her or to talk to her. Her family is trying to get her married but she rejects all the guys she is dating. She is quite hot but not anyone can put up with her. She usually get's chased by other guys but I am always giving her attention once for every 2 times she approches me. This is the only thing that works with this girl. If I give her too much attention she drifts away.

Unfortuently, she is moving with her family to a new house by the end of this month about 20miles away from my current place. The funny thing is that she is the type a person that will leave without saying goodbye.

I need some advice in writing an e-mail to her that will make her miss me and I wan't to stay in touch. I really don't want to say things like, I will miss you as such bull. I need to show her that I care for her and that I will always be there if she needs me. I need to say something "different" and Anti-AFC.

This is very critical since I know she stressed with the move and probably she is looking for something to "hold on" emotianally.

I'm not sure I can help you with this one. I'd advise you to be her friend, but not mack on her. If she's got that much going on in her head, it'll take a great deal of patience and understanding to get through it all.

I had a similar situation - we hung out a few times after she dropped her beau. She would rarely call - if she did, it was a quick question. Email? Forget it. Again, only with a question.

So, I started hanging around another girl. After 5 weeks, about a month before she was going to transfer to another university five hours away, she calls me in the middle of the night. Of course, I'm in a bar, macking on some hottie.

She asked me out for drinks the next week, and Big Pappy finally got to lay the mack down, right in her candy a**!

See, I think that if she doesn't "miss you", than her interest level isn't high enough to even bother with her. Now, if she's shy, or really old fashioned, she's not going to call, even if she does miss you, unless her interest level is very, very high.

So how do you get it that high - be attracting. Not attractive, attracting. If you're fun to be around and you've passed her physical attraction criteria, she will be attracted to you. Just be a man, continue to improve your world and she will accept an invitation into it. If she likes it, you may have an LTR, if she doesn't, you'll just have to move on.

I wouldn't recommend email. For one, there's no guarantee it'll arrive. For another, if she's moving, she may have her computer already packed up.

Call her and tell her that you're going to XXX place, to do XXX activity. See if she wants to tag along. Then ask her details about the move.

20 miles is less than a half hour away by car. Why sweat that?

That's a good point. The only problem is that this "kind" of girls are the most difficult to deal with. You don't really know where you are standing.

I hate to say this but she doesn't seem like LTR material if that is what you are looking for. I would find some other chicks to DJ and let this one go. She doesn't seem like she is worthy of your time. remember that u said she "likes you" and girls that like you, even the shy ones, make things easy for you.. not difficult.. and if she is difficult you might need to take a real look at her interest level.. Doc Love always says that men overestimate a woman's interest level for you.. something to think about.. just my 2 cents.. good luck!
