I was just wondering: david d'angelo says that after talking to a female you walk away. at first you say it was nice meeting her and walk away, then say "hey do u have email"? and if they say yes take it as a sign that she will give it to u, and then say "and write ur number too". how many people have had success using this number close? any other techniques that you use? im just curious...

Instead of asking if this is a success, you should take action and put it to the test. Failure is an excellent learning tool.

I think it's a very good way to # close. But David D is big on e-mails anyway.

There are two important factors:
one, you start to walk away then quickly turn around as if saying "oh and since I'm still here...." and catch her off goard
two, you ask for her e-mail, which she is way more likely to give than her phone number, then *while* she's writing it say "and put your phone number down there too"....... suddenly, because she's already given her e-mail, what harm could it do to add her phone number?

it practically makes no sense how much of a difference that can make..... and yet it works.
