What's the difference between rude and crude?

Rude is when you throw your underwear at the wall... Crude is when it sticks.

the line between the two is a very thin one, andhonestly, it is going to be interpeted differently by each person, usually based on themselves and their level of confidence and security.

i know exactly what you are talking about. with my humor and outspokenness (at times), + i am a girl, i walk this line all the time.

that's the thing. You'll never know. It depends on the girl; always.

actually, you can. if you are going to have such a vibrant personality (such as myself), you are going to have to fine tune your intuition. then you can read people. i don't know about you all, but i am 90% of the time quiet and observant. the vibrant intimitating iqqimus is like 3%, but it is so intense it seems like more. it is a good balance.

so you just have to have balance, and read people before you put it on them.

The fine line is where you cross being confident..to threatening somebody's ego(i.e. looks, intelligence, character) through insults or putdowns

but like people said, everyone has a different threshold, based on their insecurity/defensiveness..and you have to gauge a person to see how laid back they are before you start becoming c0cky with them

some women, just like men, have no sense of humor , a dry personality and take everything seriously and at face value

I once told a chick "I love your blond hair..but whats with the dark roots???"

she immediately got sad and came back with "Thats mean! I cant believe you would say that to somebody!"

after I reassured her that Im always a joking a$$hole, and if she knew my personality blah blah, then she was grinding me at the end of the night and I # closed (which I threw away because I didnt care to pamper her ego everytime I said something and she took it personally) too high maintenance

another thing people should be aware of is when YOU or the other person is drunk/stoned

you tend to be less inhibited with your choosing of words..and if the other person is they type that gets overly emotional and dramatic when intoxicated..its a recipe for disaster

This chick I know and am pursuing kept yabbering on about "That girl over there with blonde hair and great body. What is so special about her?" I replied smugly "Get over it!" And she turned to me and said, "That was very rude". But then later on she seemed more attracted to me. Sometimes rudeness or boldness can be used effectively...but yes, it certainly does differ from woman to woman.

I knew a girl and a guy who always bickered about stupid things and she was always calling him "rude". She always acted like she hated him, but he didn't give a crap. They've been together for 10 years now and will definitely be getting married. Talk about 2 + 2 = 5.

Actually there's a huge difference between the two.

Boldness comes from a solid system of beliefs which you follow

Rudeness comes from insecurity

The difference between the two is intent. Saying to a girl, "you're so fat, why don't you exercise" or something like that is totally rude, no question. The intent is, I'm going to put you down and there's nothing you can do about it.

Boldness, being ****y, being funny, there is a different intent with these. The intent is, "hey, I'm a confident and fun guy to be around. I'm not going to put you on a pedestal. Come have fun in my world with me". Saying to a girl...."I saw you looking at me over there.....yeah, you're trying to seduce me, but, hey I'm not going to fall for it" or something along those lines that is said in a fun way is intended to be fun, to be ****y/confident, etc.

And absolutely, you've got to adapt it the particular girl.
