I've been lurking here at sosuave.com for about half a year now. As an ex-jerk turned AFC in a 3 year relationship (now over) I needed the reminders. Thanks for that.

Now I have a question:
I'm 27 yrs old and for some reason I keep attracting 17-20 yr olds. Which is fun, of course, but i keep wrecking my brain why other girls/women don't.

Any ideas, anyone?

Dead right. I recently had a 'holiday fling' with a girl ten years younger than me. When I asked what she liked about older men she said that men her own age 'let her wrap them round her little finger'.

You are right it about confidence. Women love confidence

SOME women love confidence. I don't want to start this debate again but trust me, it was never the actual confidence that gets you younger chicks. It was more their PERCEPTION that you have confidence, and have gotten your shyt together, and are mature, and sexually experienced. I don't know exactly what they perceive of you, but it is something that they are not, yet, and wish to be. Older women typically already have integrated that criteria and thus need some other perception of you to compell sexual compulsion. Apparently it's not there. Not your fault, or anybody's fault for that matter. it's all perception.

This is an interesting post, since I'm in a similar situation right now. What has been your experiences with younger women? I have one right now who I'm quite a bit older than, but she seems very interested. I'd like to hear more of what you guys have experienced with this.

Maybe you act immature? I get alot of feedback from younger girls and sisters of friends that are into me (17-19 or so, 5 years younger than me), and I have bouts where I act really immature.

Are you overly enthusiastic? Like to start alot of stupid litte 'games'? Like to break stuff for no apparent reason? Laugh and joke around alot?

I do, and the younger girls (or immature girls my age) seem to really go for it.

I love it though. I hate repressed girls!

Give each person a number, say from 1-20.

Say you are an 11. Girls who are also an 11 will be attracted to you no matter WHAT you do. Some girls (say the odds) will be a little bit attracted to you, but won't get 'infatuated' with you. Some girls (say the evens) will not like you no matter what, unless you somehow 'act' like a person with thier 'number'.

So, in essence, there are girls out there who like you no matter what 'game you run' or whatever.

Pretty much what it all boils down to is that people seek what they don't have (if you don't have confidence, a girl that you THINK has confidence will really turn you on, etc.)

Also, it touches on the fact that, for every person, there are certain traits in the opposite sex that make you become 'infatuated', and these traits differ for everyone.

they have vaginas indeed , but experience in bed has its advantages too. Besides, a lot of these chicks are still in their "romantic" phase. And they become high maintenace quite fast.

younger girls seem to like older men. And I'm quite sure the opposite is also true. But LTRs are VERY difficult with them. OTOH, they're very good to party with.

I'm not immature as such. But I don't have a lot of inhibitions when i'm having fun. And I treat life as a big game. But I'm told I look a couple of yrs younger than I am, maybe that's the cause? When having to guess my age, most girls say 21-23.
