Guys i know this for most of us pre-djs stink and stinks real hard. But it is a problem after all. Its about approaching. Now my particular problem is in my college girls sit on the benches and soon attract a lot of AFC (suckers) as i like to call em. These suckers neither make the move them selves but also restrict me to do em what should ti do about it coz i really want to get one of em fast. HELP ME MY DJ PALS

the firts thing I learned about approaches is this: dont think!
not even for a second, you see a cute girl - you go talk to her. Its as simple as that, just go right over and start a conversation...

Use the "Three Second Rule." Within three seconds of seeing the HB that gives you eye contact, smiles, ect, start moving towards her. If you do that, those "oh, she's too hot for you" will not have a chance to rise in your mind before you are talking to her.

Now, c0ck blocks can be a problem. But keep in mind your eyes are your most powerful tool. Are these AFC's actually over talking to her or are they just hovering in her general area? If they're just hovering and you don't approach, to all the other guys and to this girl you're an AFC too

Now seriously, depending on if the AFC's are over with her or are just in the general area, you have a few different methods.

----- Assuming AFC's are in general Area --

Make Eye Contact with her and hold it. Let her know with your eyes that you're interested. If she holds EC, then you're in. If you get a smile with the EC, then don't even think. Walk right over and all you need to say is, "Hi" or, "I noticed you sitting here and wanted to meet you." Just wait for the EC to be returned than make the move.

---- Assuming AFC's are talking to her ----

You have a few options here too. If they're talking to her, you can use distance flirting to get her to approach you. I've done this at parties before. Stand 10-15 feet away from the target and find another girl. Talk with the other girl, but occasionally look up and lock eye contact with the target. Do this a few times. If you can use KINO on the girl you're talking too and make her laugh, then you have social proof working for you! At parties I've gotten girls that were surrounded by c0ck blocks to approach me using this method.

The other option is if she's obviously bothered by the AFC's and you can tell she wants to get out of there, walk over, put your hand on her shoulder (or whatever), look her dead in the eye (or use your eyes to signal, "I know you don't know me, but I'm helping you here" and say,

"Stephanie! There you are! I've been looking all over for you. We need to hurry up and get out of here cause Tyler and Wendy have been waiting for us for 15 minutes."

Then grab her arm, gently pull her up and start walking away. If you read her right and she was looking for a way to get away from those chumps, you just saved her, and you were able to do it all by reading her body language. VERY ATTRACTIVE trait. If you didn't read her right, or the AFC's were actually good friends of hers, you might get a, "Who are you?"

Depends on how well your reading/gauging skills are. Either way, there's nothing wrong with taking some risks. Keeps things interesting

Most times you will not get any EC from the girl. Despite that, approach anyway, the 3s rule is very important. If you see a hot one at the bench, but establishes no EC, just walk over, if shes reading a book, you can ask her what she's reading. If she's just enjoying a great day, you can walk by her and comment on how nice today's weather is. You don't need EC on any of these approaches, once you've broken the ice, you'll get all the EC you want.

I agree with HuuBinh. Most girls I met so far dont give any EC or smiles. I am doing mostly cold approaches. I dont think the "3 second rule" will work all the time. Just do it! I just walk right up and asked if she was single or etc...

What about when you make eye contact, and you get that weird smile. It's not like a happy smile, but it's weird, I don't know how to explain it. It is like, hey, I'm acknowledging that I see you.
