GTS Jeff
Don Juan
I've been going out with my current GF for 7 months. I've DJed it well to the best of my knowledge and things have gone well.
However, one thing that is starting to really bug me is how naive she is. Specifically, she is naive in thinking that AFCism is not common. She is from a small town, and has only had mickey mouse relationships before this one. She is 19, I'm 20. Now, I've come along and swept her off her feet, and I always get the impression that she doesn't realize that I'm a ****ing catch. Examples? Well, she once said, "University guys know how to treat a girl right, unlike high school guys. It's like high school is training for guys." Now this is retarded, since I'm the only guy she's dated in university, and because I never once had anything serious in high school. She is attributing my DJing to high school, something that everyone gets, and I get no credit. She thinks there aren't many AFCs because she never gets a chance to talk to them because they are all scared ****less of the fact that she is a girl. I watched an episode of Sex in the City with her (all the guys in there are total DJs) and afterwards when we are talking she says that she thinks that the show is quite realistic. I almost started ranting about how most guys can't be that DJ but I didn't cuz it would have been futile.
So this is when I left her place.
And this is what I plan on doing:
-withdraw for a few days
-spell out to her that she has to learn to appreciate me
Any comments? It's like all my hard work to become a DJ is useless, because she thinks DJs are the norm.
