Okay so the title of this thread sucks but it was the best I could think of.

I think there are four kindsa guys on these boards which represent the four types of DJs.

PUAs (Pick up artists)- Guys whose sole focus is on getting good at meeting women in different places, and getting dates and digits.They don't sweat too much on what happens afterwards cos if you get as many dates as these guys do then eventually enough of it translates into some action of whatever sort you're into STR/LTR/ONS.

Pimps - Guys who are just about the clam. Not too fussy about finding "the perfect woman" just all about finding hot chicks who'll put out.

Gym Rats - Guys who think all this talk about what women think is a load of bollocks. Guys who spend their time getting pumped up so that they don't need DJ skills; they can rely on their looks and physique. Other DJs would mock them for their lack of skills if it werent for the fact that this approach is so damn effective.

Don Juans - Guys for whom this is a lifestyle , guys who are the alpha males of our society who know what's going on in a chicks head and what buttons to push. A surprising number of Don Juans are old schoold romantic types deep down and are looking to find that elusive "ten" for their LTR.

Don Juan, but the part about trying to find that elusive "10" is wrong. I have had many girls who are as close to 10 as they come. I am now only looking for a girl who is relatively cute, but who has a killer personality. After all in 20 years she will be ugly anyways and it will simply come down to personality.

Personally I thought people viewed me as a Pimp but that wasn't the case what they meant by a Pimp was the definition of a Don Juan.. so I would def. go with Don Juan and maybe Pimp once in a while when I need to show off some AFCs... feels to have this knowledge

Gym rats without any skills is very effective huh? Good looks helps alot, but without any skills and/or atleast some courage, you won't get far....

I guess I am all of the above too. Except your describing a player instead of a pimp. You can't put a box on how you run your game. It just is. What you can do is strive to be all of the above. This is the problem with using someone elses criteria...you limit yourself to their labels.

What type of DJ is completely the wrong question if you are asking about style...

For example :

I am coquettish / rakish charmer.... I am working to add charismatic to this.

What does that mean?

Coquette : Coquette is the seduction technique where you are very open warm, caring, at one moment, and then at strategic times you become cold, and indifferent. I think that when you are talking about 'what kind of DJ you are' this is the type of things that would imply a style. The more styles that you can add to your reportoire the better you become in the art of seduction.

I know a few gym rats and theyre prety effective up to around 8.After that I guess the chicks are used to getting hit on by good looking guys and 8 really seem to depen on personelety.Tough with 6's and 7's it definatly works in the STR.

I would have to agree with this. I consider myself a gym rat, but I'm trying to learn to be a DJ as well. I've met a lot of girls without applying any skills (I didn't know any skills anyway).

The other day in class, this one girl (i've never talked to before) starts telling me real loudly that she saw me at the gym, asking me when I go, what I do etc. She is probably a 6. I talked to her for a minute and that was it. The next time we had class, she moved to sit next to me. Then after class another girl (who I've only talked to once at this point) came walking up to me and started grabbing and hitting me in the arm, and saying stuff about me going to the gym. She is a 6, as well. Both of them are in sororities, so I had considered the possibilities of them introducing me to their friends. I haven't closed on either one.

These are just 2 recent examples.

Anyway, so yeah, gym rat doesn't have to rely on DJ skills much below 8's, but above that, you gotta have game.
