It seems to me there is a fine line between showing too much interest in a woman and coming on too strong (AFC) and playing it too cool and possibly not showing enough interest so that the woman believes you don't like her. Let me explain...

know a woman...don't wanna come on too strong...playing it cool..not overwhelming her with calls...seeing how much interest she has..seeing if she comes after me...well she did slightly and but then seemed to lose interest and well to make a long story short i rarely see or talk to her for the last month. It seems like you have to show interest in a woman or they will find a guy who will. Call them whatever you want (attention wh**e) but if you play it too cool I can't see them persuing you cuz they have plenty of guys coming after them. They don't need you.

HB get hit on everyday. They don't have to go after some guy who in their mind may or may not like them. I have read diff ideas on this but in my life I don't think a woman likes a guy more cuz he is a challenge. They like having guys leer at them and hit on them all day and if you don't show them enough of that attention they will just get it elsewhere. So like I said in the title..theres a fine line here. Too much is no good and not enough is not the answer either

This I have not found to be true. Among my friends back in the day, the ones that ended up scoring with the head cheerleader and the hottest girls at my school were the ones that paid absolutely no attention to them. Although it is true that they love attention and they get it all day, if you are the one that gives them no attention, you stand out in their mind. They begin to wonder why and think of you more and more. Eventually they will try for your attention and the effort itself is a raise in IL. When she has no interest in you whatsoever, it doesn't matter how much attention you give her.

yeah this happens to me all the ****en time.
after a long enough time girls with high interest EVENTUALLY give up if u act too cool or arent makin a move.

Girls who aren't into you usually won't change whether you give them little or no attention. On the other hand, take a girl who might have some IL in you. If it's not that much, then giving her attention will likely increase hers, but giving her none will eventually blow up in your face. Nobody likes being ignored, and it can get very frustrating waiting for a spineless guy to finally get the nerve to go up to her and ask her out.

Especially with the cream of the crop HBs, this is very difficult, because you want to seem different from the millions of other guys who have likely hit on her, yet not so different that you are not hitting on her at all. This one girl that I'm trying to get with right now (boy, I'd marry this girl in a second) is so unbelievably hot and it seems she will get hit on quite a bit. I'm playing it pretty cool and not draping myself around her every second. I asked her to do something later this week, and she was interested. I'm supposed to get back to her either tomorrow or the day after.
