i noticed a post about women who put themselves down trying to fish for compliments...this brought to mind another topic

How about those women who never give YOU a compliment. Not that I thrive on compliments but every once in a while you'd like to hear some feedback. Especially when you know you look good due to a new haircut, new clothes, whatever it is.

Its especially troublesome when the women needs compliments but never gives them. Hey you wash my back , i'll wash yours baby.

Every chick is different. I wouldn't over analyze it bro. Just tell the chick you really like compliments and ask for them every once in a while. Commmunicate with her about how you feel.

My gf always complained that I never complimented her. I'm just not that way.

I see it like this, if she's putting herself down and you know she needs a compliment, purposely "put" her down as well. Reverse psychology.

Also, if you know you look good already and you are looking for a compliment then I see that as more of a "vanity" issue then a "she won't tell me something I already know".

Think about it.

Giving compliments is a sign that you like someone. If she is holding back, she is either being careful or you are perfect enough for her.

However, it is good to at least do it once in awhile to show you see something out from her.

Again like what Silquee Smooth said , if you are confident in your appearance there's no reason to ask for validation.

Women who ask for beg for compliments or complain about their looks are seeking validation. Just give them vague answers...

Example "Do you think my hair is too short, compared to those longer hair girls? I look like a boy - what do you think?

1. C+F : Yeah you're looking like a boy. (Stop there, let her whine)

2. Smooth man : Let me look over your hair to check. (Kino)

You're losing the point. I don't think it's a vanity issue. The issue is how the females want something but won't give the same to you. I'm sure that if your HB didn't fish for compliments, you wouldn't care about if she gave you compliments or not. But if she fishes for compliments and never gives you some then you'll feel like WTF!! I do sometimes!!

It's always nice when girls compliment me, but I never actively seek compliments out or care if they come or don't, I know I look good anyways

woe be to a girl who compliments me... hahaha this is c/f material immediately. i don't think i've ever let a compliment go and just say "thanks." i ALWAYS turn it around and accuse them of hitting on me or something along those lines. last night a girl told me i have nice eyes so i said, "never heard that one before" in a ****y tone. i don't need validation.
