After reading stuff on this site I break out in a cold sweat thinking about the AFC stuff I've done in the past.

- instantly responding to girls' emails because well, hey, they'll know I'm really keen on them!

- bringing presents to first dates

- giving girls MY number without asking for theirs...hey...she didn't call me??!!!

- going round to a girls' house FOUR TIMES in one night to ask her out, each time being told she was out by her flatmate

- having a long emotional discussion with a girl about why she 'didn't want to be in a relationship' instead of nexting her

Do any other readers have any horrendous AFC memories?

(BTW do any UK readers constantly think of Arsenal Football Club when they see 'AFC'?)

Very AFC of you Allegro can pretty much identify with those things. Most AFC things I did, was with one particular girl:

-Took extremely AFC advice from other websites about dating etiquette etc, giving me the wrong mindset.

-Followed my mother's advice (why?!!?) by bringing flowers and gifts WAY too early in the dating stage, 'because she'll think you don't like her', ruining any chance of success. It had been going ok till that point.

-Phoned her constantly, and wondered why she didn't reply!

-Wondered: "should I hold her hand/should I kiss her/ should I just touch her shoulder/does she like me?/I hope she likes me" If you've got to ask these things and it's like, the 3rd or 4th date, you're probably onto a lost cause. Hesitation leads to masturbation as we all know.

-Kept a pitiful diary of my feelings for this girl.It's been burnt now.

-Believed she was my soulmate the moment I met her. Again, wrong mindset to have.

-Bombarded her with text messages, inviting her out etc. Not one of them got a reply, but still I continued to send them.

-Basically put her on a pedestal, stopped becoming a challenge, didn't use kino, hesitated, fantasised instead. Just everything an AFC does. Still, found this website, but do still cringe thinking about those previous ways. It was only 3 months ago.

Example 1 - Chick makes a move on me, make out with her on the dance floor, i give her my number and dont even get hers. We meet up the next day (luckily she did call) and she comes to my house (she offered).

Sitting on the couch, i make no moves, she pokes me (kino) and makes all the moves on me. We start making out for about 2 hours, 2 hours of just kissing, WTF!!!

She then interupts the session and makes the comment "We are where we were when we started". I then continued to JUST kiss her...she even puts my hands on her breasts, but all i do is keep kissing her....LOSER! if i was in the same situation today i would have started taking her clothes off then lead her to my room and bang the b*tch!!!

This is definately the biggest AFC mistake of my life, probably my biggest regret also...this chick was soooo FINE!

Ohh, she LJBF'd me within the week.

-had a first date last over 9 hours,
-Wrote a girl a letter asking her out to a 2nd date(I handed it to her)
-Told a girl she was the most beutyfull girl in world after she LJBF me to get her to go out with me.
-said Im sorry(5 times) because my leg was touching hers during a movie.
- Told I girl I loved her after one date
