I just got a girlfriend a couple weeks ago and we talk on the phone for at least an hour every day. Personally, I friggin' hate talking on the phone. I feel like it is a huge waste of time. I don't like talking on the phone in general, whether to a guy or girl. Usually for me talking on the phone is only good for making plans. With her or any other girl, after about 20 minutes of blabbing, I run out of things to talk about....and I'm sure she doesn't care about my workout that day or the enormous dump I took before she called me. What should I do....cut the conversations off earlier, tell her I don't like talking on the phone, or should I try to be better at talking on the phone?

5-10 minutes on the phone does me nicely. Anymore and ;
"sorry, i have to run, talk to you later"
"ive got to go, got some things to do"
