For whatever reasons - health, mood, religion, etc.

Just started thinking that with my current gf if she stopped the sex with no definitive prospects of future - I'd really have NOTHING attaching me to her. This makes me sad.

So, I'd say: 'two weeks'

BAH, it wasn't my intention to make this thread about me - but I can't help it if there's nothing that this girl can do to entertain me or LISTEN to me once in a while and appreciate my greatness :D

I don't think it's shallow to need or demand sex in a relationship. You're a GUY, for godssake. Gratuitous sex is the goal here!

If my girlfriend wanted to cut off sex, the only reason I'd accept was if she contracted a terminal illness. Or at least an illness that involved blindness and chronic incontinence. Okay, that's a nasty image.

If she cut it off for any other reason, I'd say: 'two seconds'.

I agree. The main reason guys and girls hook up is to have sex! Otherwise, why hook up with the opposite sex at all? Duh!

If she cuts off sex, why is she with you? If a girl does this, no matter what she says, her interest level in you has sunk too low to continue the relationship. Either that or she's playing a really cruel, stupid game and you should still drop her a$$ immediately. Never stay with a girl who cuts off sex, it isn't worth it.

I waited 6 days with my last gf, she gave me some BS rap about waiting a month. I let her know I wasn't down with that. And it was her getting on top of me and putting it in herself. (That ***** pissed me off she should of let me put a condom on it first).

As for now, since I'm really not into relationships until i turn 50. (I might reconsider this depending on what my life looks like when my business is up and i am independent). My deadline for now is within a few hours, although if she's top of the line merchandise I might let her wait until the 2nd date.

it really depends

if you are younger then more likely that some girls are more reserved about that

on average id say 1-2 months but its hasnt been that bad for me in a while

but if there is a girl that really interests you and doesnt want to have sex then you should be able to deal with it (this is part of why i dont do LTR's)
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Since I'm only 17 the time period is a little longer than the rest of you. I'd say... 2 months, maybe. Depends on the girl really, not to sound AFC. Sex is definitely the reason that a guy and a girl get together though. Otherwise it's just a friendship with more advanced hugging. :p
