long story short - friends with this chic for quite a while (we're both 18) and its real close, started reading/learnin how to dj a month ago, since then have been dj'ing her and it has been producing good results. now to my question...

took her out clubbing last nite and both gettin quite touchy etc but she's only been gettin touchy just recently...neway on the dancefloor all was goin good she was smilin etc, but everytime she laughs she seems to tilt her head down rite, but while she was smilin gave her some eye contact, i tilted her chin up and went in for a kiss and to my surprise she tilted her head down...i dont know if she was laughing or just rejecting me but yeah im all confused on wot to do now...after that rejection she put her arms back around me then shouted me a drink wtf !? so yeah im a little confused on wot to do...i dont feel like i was rejected by her but i need a pure dj's opinion on this...thanx to those who respond

you were rejected. give it some time and try to kiss her again when the mood is right. maybe she didn't feel comfortable kissing you in front of all those people.

As has been mentioned in other threads recently, until that first kiss, girls respond strangely to being touched on the face. If she turns away from a kiss, what I like to do is just nuzzle her a little bit, as if that's what I was going to do anyway.

I took a class in personal communications for work...don't know if any of this stuff is valid, but often you can tell what someone's thinking by which way their eyes go when they talk to you...ties in with the whole right-brain, left-brain theory:

down and left: numbers and math
up and left: fact recall
up and right: imagination/fabrication
down and right: raw emotion

If the other signs you were getting were good, i.e. she wasn't scared to make eye contact, etc, I'd say she's showing interest.

But then again, I wouldn't worry either way. Girls are actually quite aware of some of the "signs of interest" we look for and can use them to see how well they can manipulate you. Even so, you don't want the result of your night to be bent on how "well" she responded, or let her control you through your emotions.

Just have fun. One thing I'm noticing more and more is that the best way to deal with women is to have fun with them...treat them like toys, use your imagination, give them a hard time, and just generally laugh at them.

She asks you to buy a drink: Laugh
She stares into your eyes: Laugh
