Hot babe at Walgreen’s tonight, Woooo Hooooo. Used the three sec rule, ask for her name, and used the too long handshake… (Hummm, she was interested.) Messed up and didn’t go for the e-mail. I thought I would see her again before check out, and get it as an after thought. Wrong!! She was at check out!!!! I had to move fast…So in front of everybody, I said. Hey Kim, “Do you have an e-mail?” She said “Yes… (Surprised smile)… I do (pause)… but I have a husband too.” She never broke eye contact and bit her lip. Opps… (Keep smiling.) I said, “Well, I don’t guess I better get it then.” She laughed and said “Probably not.” He’s kinda big. -Flames everywhere, somebody call maintenance.

Had I closed for the e-mail while we were alone would she have given it? I really don’t know, I swear I looked for the ring, and never got a clear view until after the damage was done. I don’t mack married women, but dang. It would have been nice to go home with that e-mail, even if I never used it.

I see it as a non factor whether she would have given you the email in a more private situation, it still doesn't change the fact she is married.
But yeah, i see your point, always nice to go home with another success story! But hey, i think you won, you approached (even infront of all those ppl) and you must have some large balls!!

That WAS a ballzy move. I give you props. I think it's irrelevant whether she had a husband or not; because if it was JUST that holding her back she would have given it to you and played dumb to the people that knew she was married ("Oh I just gave him the wrong one so that he wouldn't feel bad."....etc).

The only reason that she would give it to you in private and not in public is if she's LSE and is worried about what people think. If it was in public, and she was attracted to you, then she would have been PROUD to get hit on and to give her number to such an "attractive guy" (whatever THAT means). If she wasn't really attracted to you, but would have dated you because she was lonely or LSE then she MAY have given you the number when she was in private (away from everybody so that people couldn't bust on her). But at that point, unless you are after ONS, it's a bad close anyway.
