Bulking Diet: 6 meals?

Hi, iam new here so i just have a couple of questions.

1. I have read that you have to eat 6-7 meals a day to get big, but is that 6 full on meals?. Like with carbs, fats?. An example would be every meal having a cup of cooked rice or pasta.

2.Why do you have to eat clean (healthy) foods when your bulking if you still have to cut at the end?

1. yes. AT LEAST 6 FULL MEALS.

2. Because you need the extra calories to build muscle. Your body doesn't have much use for junk food in building muscle.

You could also substitute a shake instead of eating actual food for one or two meals a day, they are easier to eat, just make sure they have the correct nutritional breakdown you need.
