Does it exist or is it only a fantasy? What is it and how do you know when/if you got it? Is it attainable? Is it a delusion?

Word on the street is that it takes a lot of time to establish.

Ok, reading through that link seemed like another I was an AFC, and now I'm gonna be a DJ thread. It didn't answer most of the questioned presented above. I'm not talking about 'love' in general, but what is called 'true love'. Also, is it compatible with the DJ lifestyle?

This is the wrong place to ask that.

There are alot of bitter people here who don't think love exists. I used to be one of them.

I think it does exist but maybe not in the way many people think.

here's what i think: most people on this board seem to have become (or are trying to become) DJs for the sake of banging as many chicks as they can. there doesn't seem to be many who pick up DJ skills for the sake of finding a quality girl to have a serious LTR with, and possibly to spend a lifetime with. And then there are those who play the middle game: search for "the-one" and bang a few chicks along the way.

if you're out to have sex and not to find a girl who you want to just "be" with, then you probably won't attain true love (simply because you don't want to). DJ skills, used correctly and honourably, allow you to dig deep into a girl to find out what she's really like. Once you've achieved that and have found out what you want to know, falling in love with her is your decision.

you'll know when you've attained true love. things will just be......different. you may not feel the need to be a DJ anymore when it happens. the girl will probably be more important to you than you are to yourself. you won't have to think about DJ behaviour when around her since you can just be real and natural because she loves you for it.

If you are in love, you know it. It isn't necessarily rational, though. Many have had to recover from love and in later years look back and say, "What the h*ll was I thinking?"
