Let us men, continue where we left off. Remember that part in The Matrix, where Neo and Morpheus were walking opposite of all of those people in the Real World? The thing that I remembered from that scene was the large amount of people just walking... not really going anywhere, but just walking. This is one of the most profound things that I have ever seen in my life. I mean think about it: how many people do you know in your life who are just walking? Not walking to a particular place, but not slowing down or going the other way because there are people behind them who are walking in that direction. I think that scene explains social dynamics to it's core: Society teaches to follow the person in front of you... if you notice, all of those people in that scene almost drone like? This is not what you want to be... you do not want to be a drone in this society. You do not want to be a person who is merely a drone following the backs of the people in front of you.

The only reason that people follow the backs of those in front of them is because they are not using their "eyes." There is so much to see/do/think/observe/witness in this world people. Because all of these people do not use their "eyes" they only remain in the bubble that they know... you do not want this to be you. You do not want your ignorance to hinder you from viewing the world from all different angles. Do not be like people in the "Matrix" that cast ignorant judgments... if there is something that you do not know about... find out about the topic, then make an accurate opinion on it. Break through the bubble of security that you live in guys... that's what a lot of the Matrix was about: people became so comfortable living in their own bubbles, that they never realized that the wool was constantly being pulled over their eyes. Open your eyes guys and you will see that you are the nice, neat, little package that society wants you to be. Take a chance, be different, be bold... be something that society does not allow us to be...

it wasn't the construct, the real world, or the matrix. it was a matrix-like program. but you know, it doesn't really matter. he's just using that scene as an example.
