Was talking with these two girls at a starbucks. I'm telling them a funny story where the sideview mirror of my bike hit some woman on the buttcheek. I compared this woman I hit to those NYC horses that can only see straight forward as a joke. The one that I had my eye on crack a semi-smile and sarcasticly told me I was racking in the points. To which I said "like I care" jokingly with a smile. I don't think she took it that well, cause a little later when I went for the number close she didn't wanna give and instead asked for mine. I told her I would give her my number, but I don't give it out to strangers. And that was pretty much it. Anything wrong with my game?

1. convey your personality;
2. demonstrate that you have values that they find attractive;

4. seed in something to see them again.
From my understanding, you just told one story? I am basing my comments on that assumption.
In this case, no you haven't done enough to gain a solid number.

I know I could of got the other girls number, but I ain't into settling for second best. I usually have a problem of acting too goofy and hyper, and talking to fast. But this time I was alot more serious, and under control. When telling jokes, I would keep a straight face unless they laughed. What do you guys think of this more serious approach. I don't know - to me "like I care" is kind of like a neg-hit. You're kind of saying "I really don't give a sh!t about you, I'm just amusing myself here" - which I suppose can work but it really depends on how you say it. It just seems like she was trying to encourage you, say something nice and you threw it back in her face.
Personally, I would've said something like "Oh really!? I didn't know we were keeping score. Who's winning?"
