long story shortened: longtime friends, started goin out, got serious and exclusive quick.

she broke up with me(two months ago) citing:"i cant be in a serious relationship with you right now---im all f u c ked up inside..." but it ended on good terms nontheless, with an agreement to be friends again(dumb me, but there was little interaction and i stopped talking to all together her about a month ago).

so, her birthday is about a week away, and im curious: should i call her and tell her happy birthday(since i assume she thinks we're still friends), or do i not worry about it?

All f@cked up inside probably translates to - attracted to someone else. If she comes back, it probably didn't work out with him. A phone call would be fine if that's what you feel like doing. Just don't buy her any gifts or anything.

jeez, when a woman goes out of her way to harm her own character by saying (Im all fvcked up inside)


She is either very fvcked up or desperately wanted out of the relationship.

Its like that guy that had his arm under a boulder and cut it off so he could survive.

I had a oneitus that I always went out of my way to make her feel special..every year during her bday..I would send gifts, call, leave goofy messages on her machine.etc because she really had no one else..and always told me "You really make me feel special"..then recently she did the pull back..and so did I ..when her bday came around..I just sent a card with a one sentence "Happy bday! " Your pal, Star


Im not sure how she took it..she just sent me an email saying thanks! cute card!

I would be really irked if a girl always sent me gifts for my bday..then suddenly nothing..

You could always send her an email, with happy birthday on it without any sappy/annoying emotion, if you're on good terms with her.

I always send an email to associates and customers (without being stalkerish), even those I never see, when its their birthday. Depends on your age I suppose (if you're in high school it doesnt matter), but I find when you're polite to everyone it helps in the long run.

One of my recent ex's new boyfriend, in fact, is now a long-time customer. $30 a month goes into my pocket, just for sending her yearly b'day emails. Nobody can argue with money.

I sent my ex a bday card..now I regret it..because it didnt accomplish anything..I was subconsciously trying to say "I still care about you"

She didnt even acknowledge the card..until I had emailed her and asked her if she got it? dumb byatch

but I got her back..she sent me a gift from her Vaca .. and I didnt even thank her..she sent ME an email saying "did you get my gift?"

and I just said "ohh yea..I got it a few days a go! Thanks!"
