Was on the beach the other day playing cricket. The ball went over my head and towards two bikin-clad girls who were obviously going into the sea for a swim. The ball was about 5 yards from them, but 10 from me.

I shouted "excuse me", waiting for one to look around, to which I could have asked her to pass the ball.

What happened? Just carried on walking. They definitely saw the ball.

In response to the title of this topic - chicks don't put themselves on pedestals - AFCs do. They can only be on a pedestal if you put them on one.

The chicks on the beach - if they responded to excuse me, it is like giving you an open invitation to engage with them. They would have their b1tch shield up as they are on the beach wearing not much.

Forget the polite "excuse me". Next time shout, "Hey you with [red] bikini, pass the ball". If they ignore you, "Yes, I AM talking to you". If you really want to go to town - "Don't make me come over and push you in the water" (jokingly).

If you tell people what to do, they often just do it without thinking about it. If you ask them, they often automatically decline/make an excuse.
