I don't ask for advice much on this board, but here goes:

I have this girl I've been seeing for about 3 weeks now. She's really nice, hot, and has a great personality. She's also super independent.

A few days ago, she accused me of sending a nasty email(s) to her from a hotmail account. First, I didn't do it. Second, I told her I was a little pissed that she could think that I did it. And I told her this.

She responded by "so are we still going out Saturday?"

No apology, no "sorry", nothing!

Now, I really don't know what to do.

Should I not show my anger, and just say something like, "No, can't make it."

Or should I tell her I'm still pissed?

Either way, I'm not going out with her on Saturday, I'm just not sure how to respond.

Man, I'm confused on this one.

Sounds to me like you are TOO into this girl

chances are that she aint "really nice" or has a "great personality" if she is flippin out over an email

im gonna also guess that you are quite young b/c who else would be sendin prank emails?

but dont let this girl see you pissed, never let her see you out of your "DJ" zone

but id say go on the date and give her a semi cold shoulder

dont give her any play throughout the night

if she truly is a "really nice" person shell notice that somethin is botherin you

that is a tough one..I know girls like this who dont have the gumption to apologize for doing wrong..are a bit on the self-centered side..and most likely will think they can walk on you and just instantly be forgiven.

Dont show emotion..but stand up for yourself too man..for all you know this could be a test..I would NOT just ignore it..because you are sending her the message "you can treat me however you want and I'll still wanna date you"

Tell her to give you a call when she has an apology..until then you are just too busy.

I'm definately not going out with her on Saturday night. And I'm still debating whether I should say something like ,"can't make it." or do something as Starman suggested.

And to clear things up, I didn't send the email. I'm guessing it was one of her co-workers. The reason I'm pissed is that she called me up assuming it was me, and when I said no, she was like, "oh ok, bye."

I then called her up later and left a voicemail saying I didn't appreciate being accused like that.
