What kind of a question is that? Why do you think it matters? Talk to whoever it is you want to talk to and maybe even get the girl to do some of the talking for you. This is all assuming that she'a a friend of yours.

If she gets pissed off that you're talking to hotter chicks than her then tease her for wanting a piece of the action for herself.

I think you misunderstood. Here's how I see it from my perspective: If a girl I'm interested in turned me down for a Master DJ, It wouldn't sting as much as being turned down for an AFC. The former case makes more sense to me and thus, it's less of an emotional stimulus when it happens.
I was wondering if women feel the same way.

Social proof is pretty powerful stuff. It doesn't matter who you are talking to, although the hotter the chick, the better.
